Panic was the first thing you felt as you read the time. The ten minutes were up. Ok so from your sisters point of view your brother disappeared in front of you. Yeah there was no way you could rationalize that.

“Hello Doug are you here?” You could hear Crystal calling you from down stairs.

Quickly you tried to clean Trixie’s “love” out of your ass with some tissues you had laying around. Then you heard some one walking upstairs.

“Douggggggg?” Crystal called again.

You could hear her approaching your bed room door. Quickly you threw on the dress, not sure weather you should jump out the window, or try and act natural. Footsteps came closer and closer to your room. Then suddenly they stopped. You held your breath, there was nothing but complete silence. You stood there waiting for about half a minute. You wondered why she stopped suddenly.

“I’m very disappointed my apprentice.” You heard a voice behind you that made you jump.

You spun around quickly to see Vera standing behind you. She wore an expression of annoyance.

“Wha- what are you doing back here?” You asked confused

“Having to save you from exposing magic to your sister and her friends.” Vera pushed pasted you opening your bedroom door.

The door creaked open revealing your sister frozen in time as she was about to grab the door to your room. Vera shook her head at the sight.

“I shouldn’t have had to come back here Doug.” Vera said in a unhappy tone.

“I gave you a summon because I thought you could handle some responsibility, but clearly I need to rethink how much trust I put into you.” You felt your stomach twist up as Vera said that.

“I-I’m sorry.” You looked down shamefully.

You felt like shit. All you had to do was get back to where you were standing in ten minutes and, yet some how you fucked that up. You don’t what was worse how stupid you felt, or the thought that you had made Vera upset. This woman had been nothing but good to you and, the one time she need you to do something you blow her off so you could get fucked.

“A-are you going to get rid of me?” You asked Vera as single tear feel down your cheek.

“No don’t be silly my apprentice you made a mistake, while there will be consequences I will never abandon you.” Vera’s face softened, a hint of sympathy in her eyes.

“Hey wha- oh crap.” Katie said as she returned with the paper towels.

Vera glanced at her which made Katie stiffen up, but quickly Vera turned her attention back to you.

“You still need her today?” Vera asked

You shook your head no. Vera snapped her fingers and before Katie could say anything she disappeared in a flash of smoke.

“I just sent her home, I assume you at least explained how you are going to handle her chastised situation?” Vera said

“Yeah I did we have some thing arranged for tomorrow haha.” You laughed nervously looking down.

“Now I will have to rearrange the memories of your sisters and her friends, I’ll make it so that you just need to be standing where you were when they were initially frozen.” Vera waved her hand and Crystal disappeared in cloud of smoke as well.

“You better get in position this time.” Vera said

“Y-yeah don’t worry I will.” You started to head down stairs.

“And Doug.”

“Yes?” You stopped looking at Vera

“You will receive a punishment later for you behavior today but remember I still care for you my apprentice even when disciplining you understand?” Vera said calmly.

“Yeah I do.”You shivered when Vera mentioned punishment, remembering the hard whipping she gave Katie.

You probably did deserve what ever she gave to you considering how reckless you were. With that you went down stairs. You went on the living room where Crystal was back where she should be with all her friends as well. You stood in position, and nodded to Vera. With a snap of her fingers Vera disappeared, and time began to resume.
