decisions

After pulling myself apart from Toph (Not an easy task, Toph is twice as strong as I am) I have the two of them sitting in there usual spots on the couch.

I have my head in my hand and am tapping my fingers against the armrest of my chair. "J-john? ...Are you mad it me?" Azula mumbles in a scared tone while toph wrings her hands together nervously. "No I'm not mad....just annoyed.. You COULD have warned me about her." I point with my thumb at Toph who squeeks at the tone of my voice.

"I...I didnt..well..I thought she..." I hold my hand up to stop her rambleing. Azula huddles against herself afraid I hate her now. "Do you have anything to say Toph?" Toph squeezes her knees together. "..imsrry.." She mumbles quietly. "What was that miss Bei Fong?" I say in a stern tone.

"I'm sorry for attacking you OK!?" she yelps. I notice her eyes are tearing up. "...My feelings for you are real though..." I huff out in exasperation. "This complicates things..."

Azula leaps out of her seat and grabs my pant leg. "John please, please dont send her away!!" Both her and toph are crying openly now. (Azula is the only one openly weeping Toph is trying to tough it out...and failing)

"HEY HEY HEY!! When did I say anything about sending her back?!" I gently pull Azula up to me wipeing her eyes with my hands. "I just said this complicates things."

"W-well I thought you might be against a three way relationship." I exclam in a slightly embarrased tone. Azula gasps lightly "Y-you mean you were thinking about my feelings?!" She seems flabergasted.

"Well yeah, I love you Azula, I wasnt sure weather accepting Tophs feelings would hurt you so I wanted you to make the decision about adding her officialy to our family." As she and I where talking Toph was sneeking towards us.

"Y-you mean you love me too?" She whispers hopefully. I place my hand on her head gently "I'm not made of stone Toph, but it's up to Azula." I turn towards her and smile "Think of this as a therapy step sweety, I'm giving you the chance to be a benevolent ruler." I carress her cheek gently.
