Are we not going to read about the lovely Linda Bareham
Not today
You take you drinks and sit down outside. "Hi Greg" calls a female voice, you turn to see Lindsay walking towards you, you stand to greet her, "Hi Lindsay, can i introduce you to Susan." "Susan, this is Lindsay, she gave me some excellent advice the other day, do you mind if she joins us."
Susan stands and greets Lyndsay, "not at all, please sit with us." Susan gestures Lyndsay to sit down, "i'm Gregs step mom, although recently we have got rid of that and are now more friends"
Lyndsay sits down, "Lyndsay was kind enough to give me some advice when i was shopping yesterday, i think blue not black was the advice" Lyndsay nods, not wishing to say anymore. You watch as Susan thinks about yesterday, "Ahh yes, i remember now, so Lyndsay what are your plans today?"
"Well my husband has taken the kids to his parents for the week, today i'm going to do some shopping and then nothing all week until Friday when my friend is coming to stay in the posh hotel in town."
"Well i'm going shopping now Lyndsay, why don't you and i have a shop, Greg you can entertain yourself for a couple of hours and we'll meet up at the pub for some food and drinks."
"Ohh thats sounds great, i've got my husbands credit card and i was saying to Greg yesterday, he never buys me anything nice, so lets go Susan"
Susan looks at you then at Lyndsay, "when you say he never buys you anything nice do you mean like this." Hidden from view Susan unbuttons her black silk blouse, she reveals her blue satin teddy. Lyndsay stares open mouthed, realising that the satin teddy was for your stepmom. "Such good advice Lyndsay, the colour is perfect."
Lyndsay looks at you and then back at Susan she watches as Susan slowly buttons up her blouse again, she finally smiles, takes Susans hand and stands up. "Come on Susan lets get shopping, i think today could turn out to be a very interesting day, see you soon Greg."
With that the 2 ladies disappear up the street
