When she left, he followed her into his room. He didn't miss the chance to grope her a bit while she undressed and dressed again.

"Is that you, Velvet? Why didn't you say you were coming over, and who is that nice young man?" asked the mother.

"I'm Carl Taylor" he introduced himself before Velvet added "This is my employer."

"Nice to meet you Mr. Taylor, this is my husband Liam, and I'm Camila," she said, losing her composure for a moment but covering it well.

"Please do call me Carl, we don't have to be so formal here, although I would like to discuss some business with you".

Just then, Liam came and reached out to him and gave him a firm handshake and introduced himself again in person. He covered his nervousness as best he could, but Carl noticed it anyway.

"Come on in," Liam said and started walking into the house. Carl followed him and was led into the living room. When he was offered a seat, they both sat down across from each other, and the women took their seats accordingly as well.

"You look good, Velvet, you must have a good job."

She nodded and thanked him, and Carl cut in.

"That's one of the reasons we're here, she's my best employee, in fact, she's so good I made her my partner. And she gave me the idea to enter into an exclusive contract with you. Whereby I have great interest in their vineyard, which they are building up. But if I'm going to do the whole package, and since they offer a wide range, I think a cooperation with my gastronomy would prove beneficial for both of us."

Liam and Camila looked at each other and could hardly believe their ears. However, they were still contractually bound to Phillip House, and they were not sure how much Carl had learned from Velvet.

As the silence dragged on for a while, Carl broke with the silence.

"You don't have to worry about Phillip House. Velvet has kept me fully informed on that. I think you know what I do for a living, if you prefer not to work with me that's not a problem either, but Phillip I'll take care of it either way."

The two looked back and forth between him and Velvet, startled at first, but immediately relaxed.

Camila was the first to speak up again.

"So Velvet filled you in on everything, and you're still so relaxed? I know Philip isn't a big shot with you guys, but there's hardly any way around him here. He's got almost everyone in the palm of his hand here."

"Just like I do in my own town, and as Velvet can assure you, I have plenty of ways to solve problems. And if we can get into business, it will be very lucrative and with a little help from me, the wine grown here will be one of the best in the world, as will all the other products you have. The best thing is, you won't even have to change anything," Carl replied very calmly.

The two looked at him in disbelief. Now it was Liam who said something first.

"So if we get into business, whatever that looks like now, you think we can improve our quality without changing anything? That doesn't sound very credible, if I'm going to be honest."
