At her job

Lilly had woken up late and was in a rush to get to work on time. She got out of bed, took a shower, and then went to the kitchen to have breakfast. Alex and Claire came into the room and started laughing.

“What’s so funny?” said Lilly.

“Nothing,” said Alex. She and Claire left the kitchen to talk in private.

“Should we tell her?” said Claire.

“No. Let’s see how long this lasts.”

Lilly had a bagel and coffee. Then she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Then she grabbed her purse and left the house to go to work. Alex and Claire followed her, because Lilly had forgotten to do one very important thing… put clothes on. Lilly was walking to her job naked, and her roommates wanted to be there when she realized it.
