Her shirt.

“Oh way to go, you completely missed.”

“Whatever, it’s not like anyones gonna miss it anyways, it must have been left there because nobody wanted it anymore.”

“Your probably right, even if they did, they can just go out and get it.”

Bree was still on high alert that someone would be coming around to find her to pay attention to what the students were talking about.

After about 5 minutes of nothing, Bree finally worked up the nerve to peak back around the equipment. She was relieved to see the nobody had gotten up and headed her way, but immediately began to panic when she look back to her shirt and only saw an empty table!

“What! Where’d it go!?” Bree began to frantically scam the room before the harsh realization hit her, they had thrown her shirt in an attempt to “scared the ghost away.” Bree searched all around her hiding spot to no avail, which left only one possibility, one which Bree did not want to confirm.

As Bree slowly crept towards the open window, she was acutely aware that she would be stepping into a gap between items in the corner, leaver her exposed to anyone looking her way, but she had to check.

Slowly Bree stepped up to the window frame, looking back she could see all her classmates working on their laptops. Bree steeled her nerves and looked out the window. She didn’t see anything at first but after a few seconds on scanning she found her prize, the shirt was laying on top of some bushes.

“You have got to be kidding me.” Bree thought, at this point she wasn’t even surprised anymore, as her luck had been shot since she made it to this cursed corner. Bree also noticed that just below the window were bales of pine straw that were waiting to be spread through the garden.

“Maybe those would help cushion my fall, I need that shirt.”
