How does Thalia respond to the suggestion?
She decides not to anymore.
As Thalia kisses Percy one more time, she realizes how stupid it might be to continue. Who knows the repercussions of doing this? Everyone was already more or less related, but is this different somehow? And when Artemis finds out, how will she get around it? The more she thought about it, the more she wished she hadn’t let her feelings get control of her. Then she locked eyes with Percy…his green eyes trained on her with an expression that told her the same things were going through his mind.
“We’re kind of dumb,” he says with a smile. “But it was worth it, wasn’t it?”
Thalia could feel her face turning red. She only prayed to the gods that it wasn’t as bad as it felt. “It was,” she murmurs quietly against him. “It was worth every damn second.”
And with that, both half-bloods drifted off to sleep for the rest of the night…
