Who's voice is it?

It's Thalia Grace! (finished!)

Chapter 3 by TheSpectator TheSpectator

Percy’s heart skipped a beat, and his feelings went into disarray. Out of the girls at the camp that could have found him here, why did it have to be the daughter of Zeus?!

As Thalia stepped closer, she removed her bow and quiver, setting them aside to join Percy as he sat down. Her freckles moved as she smiled at him. Percy worked a smile too, but he was praying it didn’t look as crooked or forced as it felt.

The girl sat beside him, brushing her hand accidentally over Percy’s. His skin tingled with electricity, and his hair stood on end. She looked beautiful in the blue moonlight. Her face and eyes glowed brilliantly as if she were in a lucid dream. Thalia took his Coke and drank from it too. She licked her lips, making them seem glossy and moist. Suddenly Thalia looked over and cocked her head to get some of the loose strands of black hair from her face. Percy cursed within the safe borders of his mind. He thought she looked absolutely stunning.

Her dark brows arched with question. “Percy?”

“Yeah?” Percy stammered.

“What’s wrong? You’re beet red right now.” She leaned in, tilting her head to one side while her eyes narrowed to investigate his expression.

A forced laugh managed to bubble out from Percy’s stomach, and he gently pushed her away. “You’re seeing things. What are you doing right here at this hour?”

Thalia brought her knees to her chest and sighed. “I had weird dreams, so I decided to come out for a walk. I’m positive I asked you first, by the way.”

“Weird dreams,” Percy sighs too, looking at the water as it reflects the bright blue moon. “Just… weird dreams.”

Some silence washed over them. Nightlife sang behind them as the soft roar of water flow joined. “What were you dreaming about?” Percy asked, hoping to hear something normal.

Thalia chuckled. Her laugh is uncharacteristically cute in Percy’s ears. He glanced at her and waited for her to reply. “You’re gonna make fun of me if I tell you.”

Percy smiled, too, now laughing for no reason. “Was it about me?”

The laughing stopped, and Thalia snapped her gaze at Percy with a deathly serious stare. “How’d you know?”

A tinge of pink was stretching across her cheeks and nose. It was dull in the lighting provided by the moon, but the contrast was strong against her pale skin. Percy chose his following words carefully. “I was just kidding around,” he said, half-jokingly. “What’s wrong?”

They stopped staring at each other, and she sighed. “Nothings wrong.” Thalia lied.

Unsatisfied with Thalia’s answer, Percy’s curiosity got the better of him and spoke. “Was it sexual?”

“No!” Thalia barked at him. “It was just stupid shit, OK?” She continued to lie. Even if Percy didn’t know Thalia that well, he would have known she was hiding the truth. He’d never seen her so flustered and embarrassed before, not even when she got behind the wheel of Apollo’s ride for the first time.

Then she asked him something he wouldn’t have. Percy’s loyalty to his friends usually stopped him from lying to them. When Thalia asked him what he was dreaming about, he mentioned Annabeth, which made her face a little red too, but she felt her stomach flip when he also said her in a more…intimate manner.

“Oh, my gods Percy!” Thalia covers her mouth with her hands, but behind her pale digits is the reddest face Percy had ever seen on a girl. “You can’t do that! I can’t do that! We’re like…cousins!”

Percy extended a handout and told the goth girl in front of him to be quiet. The last thing either one of them needed at that point was to be caught. She looked around and calmed the best she could before hisses at him again. He tried to explain and remind her they were just dreams, but he took slight offense that she sounded so disgusted.

“Why do you sound so…disgusted with that idea? Don’t you find me attractive? And your dad married his sister!” Percy asked and retorted with a low tone of voice. “I’ve always thought you were pretty anyway.”

Thalia’s red face couldn’t get any more prominent, nor could her eyes get enough for her secret crush admiring that she, Thalia Grace, was always pretty. “Oh, Percy…I…this is dangerous.”

Percy knew that as well as she did, but there was something in his stomach that told him there would be no repercussions if something happened… unless Annabeth found out.

“The gods aren’t watching right now,” Percy sounded so confident he briefly wondered if he picked up charm speak from Piper somehow. He continued. “Plus, I’m not asking you to do anything.”

“Then why bring it up at all?” Thalia stammered.

“I just got excited because you had a dream about me.” Percy felt as hot as he did when he was in bed. He was entertaining the wrong thing, and he knew it. “What exactly did you dream about?”

This question was better received than the last one. In fact, it seems to calm her a little bit. Behind a red-tinted face, Thalia offers a goofy, toothy smile that was kind of crooked. “We were just…cuddling at night, looking at the stars and talking. Then suddenly you brought me in with your arms and…,” she paused and became interested in her shoe toes. “Then we kissed under the stars.”

Percy felt as red-faced as she looked now. Thalia’s face was lit up like Rudolf's nose, even in the cover darkness. He didn’t ever expect anything so light and fluffy to be in her mind. He hoped she wouldn’t ask him about what was happening in his brain.

He mentally slapped himself and chewed on his lower lip before asking his follow up questions, “Would you—“

Percy attempted to say something, but Thalia cut in with her words. “Let’s try it. Right now.”

Her face was still burning, but she sounded more like herself. She was confident and sure what she was doing was right, even though she was probably wrong to entertain their dreams this way. But, they were young and full of energy. Thalia might have given her life to Artemis, but she still had her emotions to consider. Both demigods stood up and took stock of the situation. This was little weird, even by half-blood standards.

“Well,” her blue eyes sparkled. “I know you’ve had plenty of practice smooching Annabeth before!”

For some reason, that irritated Percy. He launched himself forward and brought Thalia in a tight embrace before pressing his lips firmly against hers. It felt oddly fitting at first, but it felt grossly satisfying when she started to back.

Shit, shit, shit!!

Percy’s hands wandered on their own as he bravely dipped his tongue beyond the boundaries of Thalia’s lips. The taste of faint mint rolled his taste buds as her tongue willingly wrapped around his.

“Percy,” she moaned as the seal between their mouths broke for a moment. She grabbed the back of his head and played with his dark hair. Percy did the same with hers, with the same amount of force and pleasure. “Stoph it…!! Stop- mmm~!!”

Finally, Thalia shoved Percy back and took some steps back. “I said a kiss, seaweed brain!” She wiped her mouth with the back of her wrist. “You’re…you’re!! YOU’RE!!!”

Thalia is about to blow up into a million pieces of emotions. Percy knows she wants more, just like him, but he knows they shouldn’t…lust is in human nature, and right now, it’s blossoming. “You’re so cute right now,” Percy smirked at Zeus’s daughter. His comment and the handsome features made her face flare into all the different shades of pink.

Suddenly, the feelings Thalia had been trying to avoid and blew out of her stomach. She tackled Percy, and they both fell to the sand, tangled and wrapped around each other as they gave messy wet kisses. Tongues rubbed. Hands explored. And muffled moans came out. Young demigod love, forbidden half-blood love, started to form on the beach.

As they both awkwardly stare at each other’s red faces, Percy realizes Thalia is waiting for him to make the final decision on what to do next. She gnaws anxiously on her lower lip until it’s glossy with her spit and plump with worry.
