You make your way over to him and kneel beside him looking over the parts, "So where should we start." You say blankly. As you are getting roughly halfway through with great difficulty your dad breaks from discussion of the bed and instructions to say, "What's eating you boy." You respond with a "nothing." Yet he probes farther, "ah don't give me that I didn't raise you to be a liar tell me what's got you down." He says as he clicks one corner of the frame to another.

You swallow for a second embarrassed about feeling like a stud this morning only to feel cut down by almost seeing your girlfriend cry, ex-girlfriend maybe you think with a pit forming in your stomach. "You need to talk with her about commitment and figure out what each others needs are, and if you can make it work where you are both happy that's wonderful. Yet if you can't reach a point where you aren't both happy in the relationship it be better to end it. If you wanna be the stud I know you are and have sex with many different women you have to make that clear to her, and if she isn't comfortable with that or you aren't comfortable being exclusive to her it is healthiest to end it." He puts a hand on your shoulder as he finishes.

You look at him and say "I don't want to end it with her but I just have these urges that just come over me and I like fulfilling them, there is no way she would be okay with me just cheating on her all the time." You dad laughs at that.
