John's Dilemma and Erica's Start

John was a trained hunter who knew he could no longer just kill any creature he came across due to the revelations from his memory. He was trained by the very parent he had slain to kill any supernatural creature he came across as they were pure evil but the evidence from his own memory made a lie of that training. John started to clean and repair his gear while he thought things through. When he ran out of equipment he started to clean up the cabin and grounds around it. The whole time the thought of how the hunters before him could have been so wrong in their approach. John finished cleaning the cabin and stored his gear away. Later in the day he decided to go into the woods and seek out any trace of wolf packs in the area. While he doubted he would find the same wolf that had helped him he may be able to find it's pack or some trace of her so that he could seek her further not to kill her but to speak. To this end he left most of his weapons and gear at the cabin taking only a backpack with food, a hunting rifle for protection from wild cats and boars and a camping utility knife. After getting everything ready John laid to rest for the night setting of into the woods come Dawn

Erica drove back over to John's apartment where she focused on her Empathic gift using the old pictures of John along with the fresh memory of his taste on her lips from the kiss they shared. Using those items as a focus and pushing her Empathic gift into blood magic she focused on creating a ritual that would allow her to follow John's resonance, the effect he had on the fabric of reality as he passed through it. It took a little time, however she was able to feel the path he followed when he left his home. Erica hopped back into her car and started after him. She drove out of the city just letting he gifts guide her in sensing the path to take. Driving until just before sunrise Erica pulled into a roadside motel and booked a room for the day. Soon she would catch up to him, she could sense that she was getting closer with every mile she covered, closing the gap to where John was. What would happen when she arrived was the thought running constantly through her mind.
