Hypnotized

When Vernon brought Harry into the house from the train station, he said sternly, “Sit boy! Dudley learned something at school and he wants to practice, your going to help him and if you don’t, don’t think you’ll be eating anything.”

Mentally rolling his eyes, Harry walked in front of his uncle who gradually pushed him into the living room. Sitting across from his cousin, he observed Dudley who seemed to have lost most of the weight he had gotten from eating his mothers food.

Lifting up his pocket watch, Dudley began swinging it and told Harry, “Look at the watch and focus on the back and forth movements.”

Harry, obviously not taking any of it seriously, who actually believed something like that could work, looked toward his uncle to see if he could get out of participating.

Unfortunately, the man seemed to pick up on it and his glare focused, causing Harry to grimace and look back at the swinging watch, not wanting to loose out on food.

When he seemed to gather that Harry wasn't going to ignore Dudley, Vernon harumphed and walked away.

After only a couple of minuets, Harry’s eyes seemed to dull, prompting Dudley to speak, “Blink three times,” he said, and Harry blinked three times.

Testing to make sure he had Harry under his hypnotic control, Dudley gave him an order, “Stand up.”

Smirking, when Harry followed his order, he told him, “Grab your trunk and your bird's cage. Drop them off in your room, before meeting me in my room. I have a surprise for you.”
