Investigate the noise

She had to investigate. This could be the Pirate, and she wasn't going to let this opportunity sail past just sitting in her car. Grabbing her phone, she quietly opened the car door and slipped out, hurried across the street and peered into the door that sat just ajar.

She couldn't see anything obviously out of sorts within, but that didn't mean anything. She leaned closer, trying to peer further into the room... but her hefty breasts caught the frame as she moved forwards and made the door's hinges creak. She froze, wincing at the noise... and suddenly, as Nazia stood frozen, something within the shop stirred. A catsuited female figure disconnected itself from the shadows by the ceiling, dropping silently down behind the counter.

The Pirate!

Nazia pulled back, heart thudding as she pulled out her phone. Slipping around the corner, she called the station.

"Yes, the Pirate. Yes, like I said! At the jewelry store! Get over here as quickly as you can, or she'll be gone before you arrive." Nazia hung up, but she was already fretting. It'd take ten minutes at a bare minimum for anyone else to arrive, and by that time the Pirate would probably be long gone. For a moment, she imagined the look on her colleagues faces as they arrived, lights blaring, to find the Pirate already arrested, handcuffed, with Nazia's knee in the small of her back. Maybe there'd even be a helpful journalist to snap a picture for the papers...

Her mind was made up. Steeling herself, she grabbed her pepper spray from her belt and returned to the door.

The Pirate was nowhere to be seen - but the jewelry in the display cases by the counter was already missing. Nazia had been right to act fast; the Pirate was almost done here already! She must already be in the back of the shop, clearing out the safe. Hastily, Nazia barged the door open with one hefty hip and hurried towards the door leading to the back, heart pounding. This was her big day, her hour, her- ech!

Something caught her headscarf and she almost garroted herself, dropping her pepper spray as she was yanked to an abrupt halt. Her eyes widened, gazing around for whatever she'd managed to catch herself - but saw only a flash of black catsuit.

"You make enough noise that a deaf man could hear you coming," said a wry female voice, "Not so light on those feet, are you?"

Nazia hissed in frustration, spinning to try and grab the Pirate - but somehow only succeeded in getting her headscarf wrapped around her face, blinding her. She stumbled forwards, forgetting all her police training as her wardrobe got the better of her, growing more frustrated by the second as she grabbed at the phantom Pirate.

"Then again, with that body I'm not surprised," the Pirate quipped, "More roommate's hot mom than hotshot detective, don't you think?"

"I'm hotshot detective enough to put you away, thief!" Nazia growled, cheeks pink with frustration and embarrassment at being so easily toyed with. She reached up to try to untangle her headscarf-turned-blindfold, but the pirate had knotted it behind her head.

"Uh-huh," the Pirate said, suddenly right behind her. Nazia whipped around, grabbing desperately with one hand at the cat burglar while trying to untie her headscarf with the other - and so had no hands left to stabilise herself when the Pirate gave her a firm slap on her big rump, bumping her forwards. She flailed for a moment before losing her balance ungracefully, thudding heavily to her knees. "You're really not very good at this, are you?"
