Down the hallways

With her hand resting on the doorknob, Mackenzie was taking deep breaths as she felt her heart pounding in her chest. She actually felt nervous going out there, knowing that she was going to be the center of attention. After all, it is a little unusual to dress like this in the middle of winter season.

"I can't believe I'm about to do this," Mackenzie said to herself.

Mackenzie took another deep breath and finally turned the doorknob and stepped out her room. The door closed behind with a loud click, confirming that she is now locked out of her room and her only way inside is getting the card key from her friends. Mackenzie began to walk down long hallway at a relatively fast paced. Although the redhead felt nervous, she couldn't help but feel a little excited about this experience. She couldn't help but giggle as she strolled down the hallway.

Mackenzie noticed a girl and a mother down the hallway coming her way. As they got closer, the girl started to point at her and shouted, "Mommy! Mommy! Look! That lady is only wearing underwear! Wouldn't she be cold outside?"

A blush grew in Mackenzie's face.

"Sweetie, it's rude to point!" the mother shushed her as she began to cover her eyes and glared at Mackenzie for dressing inappropriately.

After that a couple of guys also walked past her and whistled at her making Mackenzie feel more embarrassed. After those encounters, Mackenzie couldn't help but quicken her pace a little more, until she made it to the elevator. She pressed the button and waited.
