Test the pen on the assistant

(Changing to Josh's POV, second person.)

"So, what's the brown pen do?" you ask the cute pink-haired assistant.

"Oh, you zap yourself with it once you have your people suit on, and you'll know how to be them," she says. "Supposedly. You do understand that these pen things aren't for real? Because you're worrying me!"

You take out the black pen. It's just you and the cute girl here. You point it at her. She puts on an obviously fake expression of terror and squeals melodramatically as you press the button on the pen...

...and you zap her with a bright narrow beam of light, magenta in color. The flesh disappears from inside her skin and it and her clothes crumple in a heap to the floor.

You go to the entrance door of the shop, turn the OPEN sign over to closed and also shut off the fake-neon OPEN sign in the window. You lock the door and pull down the shade over its glass panel. Only then do you go back and have a look at the girl suit you've just made from a real live young woman.
