Wicked Wiles of a Very Rich Very Sexy Lawyer

Luke and Rebecca walked up to the Police Station. The building's main entrance was large and crowded. A lot of people were coming and going.

"Busy night," Luke said to himself.

"Luke let me do the talking. We need to get this over and done with as soon as possible. It's 7 o'clock, I would like to get back to the store before 8:00 PM." Rebecca said with a glance at her phone.

"I want to observe the last few hours of the 'Breeding Day'. It may tell us something about the Los Angeles Coven," Rebecca said in a whisper.

The two made it into the lobby and proceeded to the waiting line. After a minute they were called to a desk.

"Hello, I am Officer Flash. What is your business?" An old policeman asked in a gruff voice.

"My name is Rebecca Queens. I would like to retrieve Oasis Kuno from your jail. She is family. I understand she was arrested earlier today, but couldn't make her bail." Rebecca said with a smile.

"How are you related to Ms. Kuno?" Officer Flash said writing on a notepad.

"Oh as you can see I am not a blood relative. I am the family's lawyer. However, the man behind me, Luke ... he is engaged to Oasis's sister, Ellin Kuno." Rebecca said calmly.

"Okay, Let me see," Officer Flash said typing on his computer.

A moment passed as Officer Flash slowly typed using one finger from his left hand.

"Here it is. It seems she knocked a man out at a bus stop, before being pulled away by a street cop, ... an Officer Bridges. She hit the Officer a few times before being restrained. Officer Bridges made a note that Ms. Kuno was acting crazed and panicked. But calm down after getting in his car." Officer Flash said before sipping his coffee.

"It also seems like Ms. Kuno's first victim is missing. The man knocked down got back up and ran off. Witnesses claim he ran in the direction of the Sunny Day Mall. Officer Bridges delivered Ms. Kuno to the station before returning to the scene of the crime." Officer Flash said looking up from his computer.

"Ms. Kuno's bail is set at two thousand dollars. She passed her medical exam and blood test. She is in good health. We are just waiting for Officer Bridges to return with a testimony of Ms. Kuno's first victim. If Ms. Kuno's claims of being the true victim can be confirmed the Bail will be reduced." Officer Flash said looking between Rebecca and Luke.

"Two thousand dollars?" Luke said in shock.

"Shush," Rebecca said turning to Luke.

"Officer Flash, could you explain the bail price?" Rebecca asked turning back.

"Well, we can't release her without bail. She is 18 years old and assaulted an Officer. But I agree that the current bail price is high for a teenage girl with no record." Officer Flash said pulling his mustache.

"But don't worry. If you wait here for a time. I expect she will be released in the next few hours as Officer Flash returns. After that, she will be called into court in a few weeks. The judge will probably just rule it as a minor offense and assign community service." Officer Flash said eyeing Rebecca.

Officer Flash stood up and looked around. He leaned forward over his desk getting closer to Rebecca.

"My guess for the high bail fee is because the Police Chief is the mother of Officer Bridges." Officer Flash said whispering.

"I see, thank you for your help," Rebecca said understanding the situation better.

"No problem, I hate for a fine lady like yourself to be worried over nothing." Officer Flash said sitting back down.

"Officer Flash you have been so helpful. I hate to ask, is there any way for you to introduce us to the Police Chief?" Rebecca said leaning forward pressing her chest against the countertop.

"Oh miss, that would be highly unprofessional." Officer Flash said staring at Rebecca's bust.

"Tell you what, I will give you my business card, and if ever you need a personal lawyer you give me a ring," Rebecca said pulling a card from her bra.

"Well, I guess I could see if the Chief is done with her dinner break. The worst she can do is ask you to leave." Officer Flash said taking the card from Rebecca's hand.

"That would be most appreciated," Rebecca said cheerfully.

"Please wait here while I see if she is in her office." Officer Flash said before walking away from his desk.

Luke watches him get out of earshot before turning to Rebecca.

"You're a lawyer? Since when?" Luke said in a whisper.

"Since always. You might be confused that your sexy millionaire fiancée would bother with studying law. Especially since she already has a personal lawyer. But consider this, what is scarier than a very rich very sexy businesswoman?" Rebecca asked putting her hands on her hips.

"I don't know," Luke said confused.

"A very rich very sexy lawyer, I don't need muscles to fight my battles. Remember if you can read the market and know the rules you're untouchable." Rebecca said smiling at Luke.

"Hmm, makes sense. I would hate to argue with you in court." Luke mused.

At that Officer Flash returned.

"Ms. Queens, please follow me." the old Officer said looking up and down at Rebecca.

Luke smiled thinking that Rebecca might find it harder to boss men around when their baby starts showing. But then Luke paused. No, he would be helpless to her demands at that point. Luke concluded that she will always have power over men, especially her husband.

"Come on Luke," Rebecca said turning to follow Officer Flash.

"Yes, ma'am," Luke said being pulled from his thoughts and running after his future bride.

The three of them walked through the halls until they reached a large wooden door. Officer Flash knocked once.

"Enter!" a low female voice yelled from inside.

The group walked into a large office decorated with medals and certificates.

"Chief Bridges this is Ms. Kuno's future brother-in-law and family Lawyer." Officer Flash said in a rush.

"Yes yes, so you explained. I am only seeing these people as a favor. Make sure your cookie recipe is on my desk by tomorrow. Now get back to your desk Flash. " Chief Bridges said waving a hand at the door.

"Yes, Ma'am." Officer Flash said retreating from the room.

"So you convinced old Flash to help you. You two can't wait for Officer Bridges to return? You want to discuss the issue now?" Chief Bridges said putting away her dinner.

"Yes, if you have the time I have some information that might benefit you," Rebecca said smiling.

"It better be good, your client assaulted MY officer. He now has a black eye and it's his mother’s birthday tomorrow. His mother is going to be upset every time he poses for a picture. " Chief Bridges said looking Rebecca and Luke over.

"I hope that Ms. Kuno's claims about being the victim are true for her sake." Chief Bridges said glaring daggers.

"I sympathize with the difficulty of being a police officer. Please consider my words before you pass judgment on Oasis Kuno." Rebecca said smiling.
