You wake up later

You wake up confused and look around. God, your head hurt. Did you fall asleep? It didn't seem like you were home; it seemed like Jessica's room. When did you get here? You don't remember going to her place yesterday. In fact, the last thing you remember is...

Your thoughts are cut by the door. In steps Jessica, beautiful as ever with a smile on her face. Her blond hair was a bit messy and she was wearing one of your oversized t-shirts, looking incredibly cute in it. "God morning sleepy head!" She giggles and jumps on the bed next to you, she leans over you and gives you a kiss. You can't help but smile back at her. God, you loved her so much. You really were lucky to be dating her...

"You slept late!" She giggles. "It's 12 PM already. What were you up to last night?" Jessica asks, laying next to you, putting her arm on your bare chest.

"I..." you start to reply. You couldn't actually remember. The last thing you could recall was going out to your neighbor's house and... wait...

She looks at you with a concerned look, seeing your estranged pondering.

"Babe? Is everything okay?"

"Oh uh, yeah, sorry babe." You shake your head. "It's just... this weird dream I had." Was it a dream?

"What did you dream about?"

"I... I was home, in my room. I was looking outside the window to the street, and I saw some guy sneaking around there..."

As you start to describe the dream, more details spring up in your memory. It was strange. You were never one to remember dreams in detail, yet this one was clear as day, like a regular memory in your mind.

"And?" She asks curious, playing with the hairs on your chest.

"He seemed like some pervert. He was spying on one of my neighbors who was searching for her car keys, and pulled up this strang pen thing..." you shiver at the thought. "I thought its some Camera at first, but then he stabbed her with it."

"Oh my God."

"Yeah!" You groan. "It was so creepy. He dragged her body inside her home, and I ran after him to save her. But the weirdest thing is, when I opened the door to her bedroom, I found him inside, and he was wearing her skin like some suit!" The description sent chills through your body. The image was so real in your mind... you could swear it was no dream...

"Oh God, that's creepy as hell!" She comments with a concerned smile. "Yeah I know! I was so shocked I couldn't move, and before I could even react he aimed that pen thing at me and shot some beam, I think that's when I woke up."

You both lay in silence for a moment, before Jessica reacts. "Jesus, that's scary as hell." She replies and you nod. Just thinking of the dream left chills in your body.

"But no need to worry your cute head over it. It's just a dream."
