Should it spend more time scanning?
No, and the new morning.
No, the program thought. It would be best to put the choice in their hands. Still, it had to make some alterations to both as per it's guidelines to better make them compatible. Anything else, let the lovers figure it out.
The program started to work the laptop into overtime as the world around it started to ripple and bend, alerting the cats to the strange event. Kendra just rolled over and covered her head with a blanket, muttering for the cats to shush.
She was in for an interesting awakening.
Another day, much like the same was supposed to be what Kendra woke up to. Just another day with the same cats, ceiling, and morning.
Get up, brush teeth, take a quick shower, and get ready for the rest of the day and work on the latest project she had going on. Perhaps have a quick cup of coffee to sip on with a bagel on the side for breakfast. Maybe get the newspaper, start up a morning theme podcast. But something wasn't right.
For when Kendra opened her eyes, she were greeted with the sight of a high white ceiling and found the bed flanked with four large curvy white ... metal or maybe plastic?, pillars. And each of these pillars were linked together with what looked to be light blue silk and white embroidered fabrics that hung elegantly from the pillars, allowing one to close the curtains on it. There was no way she'd fit a canopy bed in her place. Looking around from where she was lying, it seemed the room followed this idea of white and blue, along with being made from plastic or metal.
A large entertainment center across from the bed, a wide closet and a few wardrobes, what seemed to be a balcony. Just where was she and who was spending so much money?
Kendra started to sit up, puzzled by what was going on along with hoping to get a better view. But in doing so, she heard something next to her on the bed. And not the normal sounds of a waking cat. The cartoonist felt the weight of something that rested on the bed shift and, with a glance, she looked over. A long metal rod was sticking out of some blankets. Odd.
"What on ..." She muttered to herself, poking the rod and inspecting it. It was about the size of her arm and ended in tubes on one end and continued under the blankets on the other.... but..., wait a minute. Kendra focused more only to realize she didn't have her glasses on...., and didn't seem to NEED them now...., what was this? But the point was, it wasn't a metal rod...., but rather a metal arm.
Gulping, Kendra took hold of the blanket the arm was under, and pulled it away. And was rewarded with... a rather pleasant sight.
The figure was a lovely sight with curvy athletic legs, wide hips, and an equally large firm ass that, which her thong did little to hide, looked like you could bounce a quarter off of it with ease. Moving upwards, was her toned narrow waist and further up, was the woman's chest that was D grade at the very least being held back by a black sports bra. All of this was easy to see as during her sleep, the woman must have pushed up her night shirt, just an oversized white t shirt. Something Kendra often did herself. The woman's arms were toned much like her legs, not too built not to wimpy. Like that of a running or swimmer. It was kinda cute to see them sprawled out in different directions. Again, a manner of sleep Kendra knew all to well.
Her head came into focus next. Hair clipped short on her head, long in the back, it cascaded around her body in a light blue almost cyan color. And her face..., it was like someone had crafted a face for the sake of looking good. Maybe a bit too round and maybe too 'crafted' of a look, but her big eyelashes drew attention, her small mouth was the kind that made you want to pleasantly kiss it, and her nose was short and cute. But that wasn't what really drew attention, it was her body. And by that, it wasn't human.
Her skin was marble white.... or maybe metal white. Her body was segmented in places, having what seemed to be gel like splits between main connections(elbow, arm to chest, legs to torso, kneecaps). Her hair didn't feel like hair but didn't feel like metal either, as if it was some some sort of prickly but soft steel wool. And she had a tattoo of the USB port symbol...., the top part being noticeable over her thong. She really didn't have feet either. Instead they just ended in large metal 'boot' like appendages. They actually reminded Kendra of knee high boots or gogo boots. Was that the term?

Just as Kendra was processing this, a panel slid off the other figure's arm just enough to show a digital clock that started blaring loud techo music. She had to back off and cover her ears, as the sleeping figured got up with a yawn, a mutter of "Already....., wait... I slept in... Mom?" before turning around to look. And to see Kendra on the bed with her in an equally state of undress.
'The silence was deafening', a term that was always stupid to Kendra. But what else could she say to describe the lack of noise, of motion as the two stared into each other’s eyes. Carmel brown against neon cyan. Neither made the first move, not wanting to break this moment of peace. But there was... something that was starting to reach the human. Kendra was wondering what that 'clicking' noise she was hearing...., and just where the other woman's arm went. Oh there it was, off to her side.... and off the bed.... and going across the floor all the way around said bed to get to....
"Oh. I see." Kendra muttered, as the extended arm grabbed her leg that was hanging off the edge of the bed. It was a stern grip but not as cold and forceful as she thought it would be. Though that **** increased a bit as the arm snaked up around her leg, and started to wrap around her entire body. The process was very quick lasting only seconds before she was completely wrapped up. Kendra couldn't even speak as the metal was blocking her mouth. Not her nose so breathing was still okay. At least her new guest was that merciful.
"You know, sneaking into a girl's bed room like that? I'd expect this from Sheldon or the Cluster but this is pretty below y.., wait." The figure dragged Kendra closer and glared at her, taking her form in. "...., who are you? MOM some creepy lady is in my room! Your security didn't stop her....," the figure paused as she got up off the bed, her voice turning from annoyed anger to something more worrying. "...Mom? Mom this isn't funny... wait this isn't my..."
The arm tightened more around Kendra as the figure turned back to glare at her, the robot's eyes heating up red. "Just... What did you do to me and my Mo.."
The cartoonist closed her eyes, bracing for a hit or squeeze or something! But it never came. Cracking open one eyelid, she saw the robotic figure was incased in a aura of blue light. Given that her arm was wrapped around Kendra at the same time, this aura also covered her too. Before she could struggle, but the human found she couldn't even move. At best she could move her eyes which was the only thing her captor seemed to be able to do as well.
Carefully the aura seemed to shift them back to the bed, robot sitting and Kendra still wrapped up. The tv screen across the way lit up, the screen starting blue and then going white with pink and red highlights. From the speakers a more cheerful and undeniably cheesy voice of an announcer spoke. Honestly, the only thing you had to compare it to would be that of a game show host announcing the grand prize to a set of winners. It was THAT hammy and cheesy.
"Congratulations, Jennifer Wakeman and Kendra Gray! We here at Cupid's Wishes would like to thank you both for using our services to find the "one" in your lives!" The voice cheerfully began, with the handiness within its voice having no end. Yet, it was what the voice said that caught the attention of both women, each of them shooting a sideways glance at the other. Jenny was confused, as she hadn't heard of anyone named Kendra..., maybe as a sub or someone at the market but no one important. Kendra for her part was stunned being married to a robot, female one at that... and one that starred in her own cartoon. This had to be a dream.
This also posed a problem. Jenny had anger issues as a teenager and while CLEARLY older(How'd that happen..., question for later), so Kendra was starting to puzzle out how to not get tossed out a window when this was over. Wait was she allowed to hurt humans?
"We hope you enjoy your new lives together and enjoy the new amenities of the new home we have graciously gifted to you two! As well as the optimized bodies we've given you! Now we're sure you want to go ahead and start your honeymoon and see the sights and sounds of the multi-verse!" The voice cheerily continued, brushing over the fact that it had modified and enhanced the two at seemingly will, possibly for laughs too. Jenny glanced down at her chest and Kendra saw her face flush..., in a light blue hue. That was pretty cute. It also kind explained why her back wasn't bothering her this morning. Or the pops or cracks she heard while getting up.
Oh and the multi-verse was a thing...., so.... another thing to toss into the "Panic" folder for later. After all if Jenny was really next to her and not some sort of robotic double/mimic/clone/thing..., well the rest of the cartoons had to be real too right? Oh god, Kendra's mind raced at the thought of drawing real lewds of real cartoon people...., and then the voice spoke up once more, stunning both women out of their own thoughts.
"But to do that, you must first make the marriage official with a dance underneath the sheets! Once that is done, you can traverse the multi-verse to your heart's desire!" Now that little tidbit of information made both sets of eyes widen. And pretty sure if either could move, their jaw would be hitting the ground as well. As with a quick look, Kendra saw that blue blush came across Jenny's cheeks as the voice continued with its speech.
"And remember you are now bound in holy matrimony for good and for ill, For life and for ****! For ****! For ****! For **** and For Life....****... life....deathdeathdeathdeathdeathdeathdeathlifelifelifelifedeathlifedeathlife..." The announcer was caught in a loop before powering down. Still locked in the blue aura, the only thing the two of you could do was look at each other and give a visual shrug before the voice came back through the speakers. Far more Robotic than before.
”ERROR!” This new Announcer declared loudly as the message changed both on-screen and over the speakers. As the beating heart with wings and the ringing bells were soon replaced with the classic missing broadcast slide that read “Experiencing Technical Difficulties, Please Stand by.” Complete with low pitch 'beep'. This made both women exchange looks at each other, the two mirroring the look of concern, worry and confusion of the other while voice of the new Announcer began to drone on.
“Error,” the voice repeated. “Running Match Check… Processing… Error detected and identified….”
“Error located. "Life and ****", subject B is not alive. Not in the traditional sense of living. Match of Organic vs Inorganic, usually incompatible. Running system checks. Checking Match…. Match meets requirements but has caused unforeseen difficulties and dangers.” The Announcer rattled off. Both women shifted what little they could, unease starting to build up more. It was clear to both of course they wouldn't be compatible; they just MET. That and flesh and blood never really mixed like that outside of stories and well....,
“Running Gift check… Gifts deemed suitable… Running Home Check… Home deemed suitable for Match.” The automated Announcer continued. Gifts? Home? Well the home made sense if neither of the women knew where they were. Gifts was a bit strange. Wedding gifts it had to be right, Kendra thought to herself while Jenny cross refereed her files about possible gifts...., and this Cupid Wish thing. It stopped her from moving but it couldn't stop her internal processes, like linking up to the local network and WiFi. This place actually did have WiFi and a pretty good net to pull from, so that was good. Jenny could get started on learning where she was when she was freed. Yet, that relief was soon replaced with even greater unease and a tad bit of fear for what came next.
“Running Location Check..., predicted dangers and difficulties above above specifications but within parameters. System requires in-depth scan before corrective jump can occur...” This puzzled both. What did it mean by warp... or dangers? Was this some sort of sick game? Still the system seemed confused about it as much as the women were.
"Running Optimization check...., Error. Limited compatibility detected. Cross Referencing with Gift folder...., non issue, revising. Running Optimization check.... cleared." What was that about?
"Probably because Jenny's a robot and I'm a human..., she does look soft enough for sex but.... wait a minute am I considering this?" Kendra thought, blushing at the idea before refocusing, "What did it mean by gift making it a non issue...."
The two were lost in their thoughts as the system checked continued before ending with a soft toned 'Bing Bong'. This drew the attention of both as the screen went back to the normal Cupid's Wish logo screen and the chipper announcer came back on.
"bbbbbbbbbbbbBBBBBUUUUT..., enough with the doom and gloom! It's a time to think about life! So enjoy your new life together, you cute couple! And if you have any questions, consult your travel manual; it is next to your complimentary wedding gifts from us here at Cupids Wishes!" The voice finished as it sounded like it went back to the script, "We hope to hear from you again, give a good review, tell your friends, and ignore the system issue just now. Don't worry, this error shall be worked out in due time! Enjoy you crazy girls!"
For just a moment as the screen powered down, both thought they heard the announcer mutter something. Something like "I'm gonna kneecap Jim next time I see him... making me look like a..." before the sound cut out. At the same time the blue aura seemed to die off too, leaving the two free to move..., well. One of them free to move.
Clink!
A sound came from the arm around Kenda, as it slowly started to release some pressure and retract itself. It was careful not to cause any distress or harm to her, so it took longer to undo than it did to wrap her up, but eventually Jenny had her arm back, held against her side as she struggled with what to do or say.
For her part, Kendra didn't know what to do, or even how to feel. A part of her wanted to feel some form of indignant rage for essentially being **** into a marriage she didn't want, to the point she was starting to blame her sister. She HAD pushed her to use the site list..., but no she couldn't have known this. Another part of her felt a form of absolute shock at the many different revelations that were placed down in front of her. Cartoons were real, her body modified, different worlds? But this was just a bit TOO much to to handle right now..., at least not logically.
With a glance across the bed, Kendra could easily see that you were not the only one who was filled with a variety of different emotions as despite hiding her emotions well. Jenny's Robotic face when she wanted to was extremely animated but right now it was basically a stiff robotic mask. Only the fact that her eyes were darting around at times..., and the fact her irises looked like window's loading icons made it clear that she was deep in thought and processing what had happened.
As the two sat in the room as it was filled with awkwardness; and Kendra was never good at tension like this. In fact, it wasn't good for her as she had kinda a... different way of reacting. A way that was different from anger or sorrow; standard responses to this much anxiety. She glanced around, looking for one of her cats to maybe pet, just have a small fluffy rock to hold on it...
And suddenly, like a switch flipping on, Kendra crossed that threshold. One clear thought entered her head. For all the madness of the day thus far, two words and one desire came to her.
"Fuck it."
"........what?" Jenny asked, eyes confused but narrowing.
"Fuck. It."
Kendra stood up, stretched, and started to walk way from the bed room, checking both doors to find the exit. Oh that was the bathroom, THIS was the exit.
"WAIT where are you going!?!? Don't you get what's happening?!?" Jenny cried as she started to get up off the bed and chase after her, "What the heck are you hoping to find!?!?" she called out as she poked her head out of the bedroom doorway.
"KITCHEN!" Kendra cried back, stomping down the halls, "Young lady I am too sleepy and TOO SOBER for this right now! I need something to wake up or drink up! There has got to be coffee or beer in this place!"
"WAIT!" Jenny cried, stumbling out of the room trying to feed a leg into some sweat pants, "Wait for me! I want you where I can see you!"
With that, the two moved to find the kitchen. They both needed some intake at this point.
