Out with the old...

"Before I do anything first though...I need to access my host's memories and personality, or is it 'soul' at this point...?" You wondered a bit. "I guess I could call it that, in a way. Whatever...let's see...oh, that's strange..." You tried to test whether you could access Formidable's memories. "...I already have them all? Huh...that's nice...Wonder when I did that...?" You shrugged, thinking you managed to unlock it all at some point after your little session with South Dakota.

Afterwards, you continued thinking about what to do with South Dakota's broken mind for some time. After pacing around and simply observing her, you came to a conclusion.

"...Well...weighing all my options...I think...it's time for me to experiment..." You nodded, unsure as you placed your hand on top of South Dakota's head. "I hope this works..." Though you felt bad for her, there wasn't much you could do to fix her. "At the very least...I'd like to try and see what I can stuff inside you...~" Though you kept up your worried feelings, a small part of you was starting to get excited at the idea of creating something new from scratch. "Mmm..." You concentrated quite hard, feeling yourself inside of South Dakota's head again, just as empty and broken as the first time.

"Alright then~ Woah, my voice...stayed the same...?" You were surprised, in your ghost form, you still looked like your male self, even not that long ago inside South Dakota's mind. This wasn't the case this time, however. "...I'm...still in Formidable's form...? That's not right..." You looked around, double and triple checking by entering and exiting her mind each time before coming an interesting conclusion. "I'm just...her..." You found yourself somewhat bewildered at this discovery. "But why...? This is so odd..." You spoke, still trying to get used to the fact that both your forms are now that of Formidable.

"Is that why I'm capable of access everything about her so easily...? I wonder if , in my own rush to take over her mind and body, something strange occurred and made me merge with her after some time set in? I didn't have access to anything in the beginning, after all..." You were now getting increasingly curious as the questions piled up inside your own head about the state of your powers. "Ah! Wait, I'm getting distracted! I need to deal with this first! Everything else can wait for now!" You said as you eventually got back on track. "Okay South Dakota...let's turn you...into my kind of girl...~"

You concentrated, feeling the empty void around you. You then began to produce a thought, an emotion, a memory, and a feeling. Pouring your own ideas inside and mixing them together. Each time, the concoction you were creating getting ever so slightly brighter with every little detail you add to it, whether South Dakota would be a stoic and determined individual or a chatterbox with a flickering will. Maybe she could continue being a "shield" for all, defending her allies to her last breath, or a coward who thinks only of herself and runs when the going gets rough. Perhaps she would be more sadistic or masochistic, whether her experiences in sex were comparable to that of a virgin or that of a veteran slut. With each and every decision you made and added, the one thing you wanted to save though was her core personality, everything else was just added details to spice her new character up.

"Almost...there..." You spent what felt like hours, maybe even days inside, creating South Dakota's new 'soul'. Eventually, you looked at the new 'soul' you created, seeing it glow brightly. "One more thing." You then looked within your own self, pulling out what you knew about her core personality and adding it to the 'soul'. "If this works...I think I might just try experimenting more...well...after I also deal with all...this...~?" You looked down one more time and you still were in Formidable's body, even as a ghost. "If this is me...then I wonder if "Formidable" as everyone knows her...exists?" You questioned as you ordered the 'soul' to take its place within South Dakota's ruined mind before leaving.

"Haa...there we go..." You looked down at the resting South Dakota. "Now...let's have a looksee...." You took a deep breath and pulled yourself out of Formidable's body, feeling yourself shivering and exiting the body as it slumped over on top of South Dakota. "..." You didn't speak as you turned to the mirror. "...Oh..." You were certainly left curious as you, in fact, have taken up Formidable's form, even as a ghost. "...I suppose that confirms it." You sighed, caressing your new form's cheeks. "Just like how I made something new for South Dakota, I guess it was time for the old Formidable to disappear and for me to take her place?" You did spend a bit of time looking before you entered your body once more. "Now all I can do is wait for her to wake up, though I have no idea how long it will be...I guess for now I'll go eat something." You stood up as all your actions now felt more natural, as if you were already like this and left the room, making your way to the mess hall. On the way, you chatted with any of the other ship girls you met along the way. '...I kind of want to try experimenting with them too...well, not in the way I did to South Dakota just moments ago, but still...I think I've gotten a bit of an itch in this that I want to scratch...~' You thought a little seriously as you ended up heading into the mess hall doors, and entering the room itself.

It was a decently sized room as ship girls who packed raw ingredients were found using the kitchen inside to cook up meals for themselves and for the others as well. 'Not a bad idea, girls~' You approved of their preplanning and went over to grab a tray to get your food. Once done, you found yourself gravitating towards Illustrious and the Eagle Union Carriers, Enterprise and Hornet. "Is this spot taken?" You smiled as you approached their table.

"Of course not, come, sit, Formidable~" Illustrious, soft and elegant as always, happily scooted over to make a bit more room for you. Thanking her, you joined them in dining and began to have a relaxing time getting to know the other two even more, as you already had enough information from your memories and personal interactions with her.

'....I want to try something later....' You thought to yourself as you eyed all three other Carriers as you soon all finished eating, but stayed to chat for a few more moments. Eventually, you and Illustrious said your goodbyes to Enterprise and Hornet, splitting off to do other things and relax.

"That was quite a lovely interaction, I hope we can get together with more of our friends later on~" Illustrious happily commented.

"It certainly was a nice change of pace as opposed to simply observing from afar." You added on as Illustrious nodded.

"We should try hosting a party sometime~ Perhaps after this upcoming battle~" She suggested, most certainly overjoyed at the prospect.

"Mmm~ I think that would a lovely idea, Illustrious, you always come up with some wonderful plans~" You complimented her as you slowed down enough to get behind her.

"Eeehh~ You think so~? I'm glad to hear it~ fufu~" Illustrious let out a pleased laugh as you both turned into an empty hallway. "You're rather cheerful toda- Uwah~?!" She then let out a surprised squeak as you hugged her from behind. "F-Formidable? What's... all this...a....about...?" She slowly went silent as you both stopped moving.

'I'm getting really good at this...~' You praised yourself as you found yourself inside of Illustrious's head. 'She's certainly a happy spirit~' You approached what you assumed to be Illustrious's 'soul'. "What a bright thing you are...." You mumbled as you gently caressed it before holding it carefully with one hand. "I'm not going to break you...but I just want to add...a little something something...~" You winked at it as you concentrated, feeling what you were making seeping into Illustrious's 'soul' "Just a little bit of...lust and corruption, and a just a hint of my...more perverse side...nothing special~" You licked your lips as you let the 'soul' loose and you pulled out of her mind.

"...About...?" Illustrious questioned and then blinked a bit, looking somewhat confused. "...Eh...? What happened...?"

At this point, you let her go and made yourself look confused as well. "Hm? What do you mean, Illustrious?" You got a bit closer to her.

"H-Hm? O-Oh uh...nothing! What were we talking about again?" Though it was a bit subtle, you noticed her cheeks tinting a bit to reddish side and her breathing temporarily hitched.

"Ah, parties~" You reminded her, smiling, which again made her blush a bit.

"Y-Yes! That's right parties~! My apologies, I'm..not quite sure how I forgot~" She stammered a bit, her chest rising and falling a bit more quickly than usual.

"It's okay~ Anyways, I do think after this, we should one for our victory~ Ah, this is your room~" You pointed out.

"Hm? Oh, you're right~ T-Thank you, Formidable, for accompanying me thus far." She curtsied as you did as well.

"Of course, it's no problem~" You giggled before going in and hugging her, stunning the other Carrier out of surprise, and whispered in her ear. "I'll see you around, Miss Illustrious...~" before pulling away.

"A-A-Ah...S-Sorry, I'll see you later again as well!" Illustrious quickly went into her room and shut the door, locking it.

You looked on in amusement for a moment, leaning into the door with your ear against it, you could actually hear her trying to calm herself down, possibly trying to figure out these new feelings she's received. Courtesy of you, of course. "This will be interesting to watch unfold...~" You held a small laugh in as you went back to your room to check your main subject.

You soon found yourself back at the entrance to your room, not sure what to expect, so you opened the door to find out. Inside you found that South Dakota was currently sitting up on the edge of the bed again. Unsure how to really open the conversation, you decided to greet her first. "Miss South Dakota...?" You said slowly as her attention turned toward you, the light in her eyes were back, no longer ruled by sexual desires alone.

"You're...Miss Formidable...yes...?" She spoke in the same tone and voice as she did before, tilting her head curiously.

"Erm...y-yes...that's true." You really weren't sure what she was going to do as you continued to converse with her.

"..." She looked at you with the same neutral face she had before. Then in the next moment, she smiled at you, licking her lips. "Would you like to....play with me a bit...~?" The light in her eyes had a flicker of lust behind them.

"...Ohoh...~" You hummed out before your eyes had a look of longing hunger behind them, shutting the door and locking it behind you. "...I would love nothing more, Miss South Dakota...~" You said as you approached her, both of you moving farther in the bed to have a lovely good time.
