Maddie Fenton

The program decided to open up the file labeled "Madeline Fenton". World renowned ecto researcher, ghost hunter, paranormal investigator, anti spectral inventor, and proud mother along with loving wife; Madline aka Maddie, was at the peak of her live. But the contract was written when she was not at the peak. Arguably near her lowest in fact.

A legal document popped up along with a short video that started to play. In it was a younger Maddie, maybe early college. She was disheveled, tired looking and sporting a bruise or two that was visible on her exposed skin. She sat on her chair, fixing the camera a bit which got a good look at her cleavage due to the tank top she wore, and fully sitting down she was also in long socks and short pants. The room she was in seemed to be a dorm room, small and packed boxes half emptied half packed. It was unclear if she was moving into or out of the room. A set of nicer clothes were hung up on a rack, dripping water as Maddie took the towel around her neck and dried her hair a bit more. Cans clinked as she dropped it on the floor.

"Right... um... hello..., COUGH." Maddie cleared her throat to start, "Oh... god how do I start this...., my name is Madeline Fenton and...., I really need help. Wait no that... that kind of help..., geeze I knew I shouldn't have done this after a few cans... what am I doing..." she groaned as she covered her face with her hands. Briefly, a high pitched chitter of laughter could be heard beyond the door, causing the woman to roll her eyes and try to focus once more.

"See, I came to college to further my studies into Paranormal Sciences, a small but slowly expanding field. But several of my colleges and peer members think..." she glares over her shoulder at the door, "little of my interests. To the point of setting me up for pranks, demeaning dates, and attempted drunken hook ups...., along with hiding some of my tests and paper work. Hasn't really done much damage to me given most facility don't treat the field serious anyway just... aaaaagh!" she slammed her hands on the small table her computer was sitting on.

"Agh, I know there's something like ghosts in the world, some **** we just can't explain... yet. And this is the treatment I get....., but then. I found it. I found you." She looked up, her purple eyes reflecting the glow of the screen.

"Cupid's Wish... huh? Cupid was the Roman god of Love and from what I've seen, some people that use this service are just... gone? I need more data though to see what this can do but maybe just maybe, you'll give me the proof I need to show that there is something out there. Hopefully ghost in nature but, perhaps magic exists too. Put a pin on that idea for later. But there are stories of ghosts in love or aping the look of a loved one so... who know what you are."

With a sigh she leaned back, picked up a can and took a swing from it before continuing, "At the VERY least, I don't think this service will prank me anymore than my peers. Who knows, maybe they'll get off my back if I show them my new going steady guy. At least for a bit. Anyway, I'm taking a huge chance on you for my own reasons, show me what you can do oh god of Love."

The video clicked off and the document came up.

The system paused for a moment. There wasn't anything in the contract about gender of the match.
