Class in Session!

Everyone was in the Lecture Hall waiting patiently for class to begin though some were questioning why it was taking Professor Goodwitch so long to get here. Some of the students didn't mind though such as Ruby and Yang who were on their scrolls watching something funny causing them to break into laughter which irritated Weiss to no end all the while Blake sat quietly reading a raunchy novel over her textbook. As for the members of Team JNPR, Nora was sound asleep while Ren was quietly meditating. Jaune seemed to be extremely nervous by how much he was shaking prompting his partner Pyrrha to pat him in the back to calm down.

Weiss: Class has already begun why is Professor Goodwitch late? She's not the type of person you'd expect this from.

Yang: Maybe she's spending some quality time giving a lucky student "extra credit" if you know what I mean~

Weiss: How dare you suggest that our professor would do such a thing, Yang!

Ruby: Come on guys I'm sure something important happened that caused her to be late is all.

Just then underneath Blake's bow, her Faunus ears started to pick up a sound coming outside of the room and growing louder. Eventually, the rest of team Rwby started to pick up on the sound as well.

Ruby: Hey you guys hear that too, right?

Yang: Yeah, it sounds like music and it sounds pretty catchy too!

Weiss: What kind of person would blare music that loud?

Just then the door to the Lecture Hall is slammed open getting everyone's attention from the sound of the music pouring through it. Next, a man begins to saunter into the room without any care that people are staring directly at him before reaching the center of the room and turns to face the class with a twisted grin on his face. By the way, he presented himself and what he was wearing he was oozing confidence.

Everyone didn't know what to say and just looked toward the unknown stranger completely speechless wondering who he was and what he is doing here?

Everyone: ...?

Just then the music stopped and now the only thing left was just a long awkward silence. Using this chance Dolan takes a look around the room to get a good idea of what he is working with before he begins. Finally, he decides to break the silence in the room and address the class.

Dolan: Good afternoon, everyone I trust you all are having a wonderful day!

Ruby: Wait a minute I remember you! You were with Professor Goodwitch and the headmaster!

Dolan: Glad you still remember me "Pipsqueak"!

Ruby: MY NAME IS RUBY!

Dolan: Settle down "Pipsqueak" class is in session!

???: Um excuse me!

Dolan looks further up past team RWBY to see a girl with red hair and green eyes looking at him with her hand in the air. He immediately recognized the girl to be Pyrrha Nikos or the "Invincible Girl" as she was called in social circles around Remnant. Really whoever gave her that nickname really must have had their head up their own ass to think to refer to her as invincible.

Dolan: Yes Ms. Nikos!

Pyrrha: Forgive me sir but who exactly are you?

Dolan: Ah yes of course where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself!

Dolan: My name is Dolan Knight and today I will be your combat instructor!

Weiss: ...

Ruby: What happened to Professor Goodwitch?

Dolan: Regrettably she could not attend this afternoon's class due to business reasons. Both she and the headmaster had a meeting with the Council of Vale so she called me up to take her place for the time being.

Dolan: But enough about that. I'd like to get down to business and start class.

Dolan: However, before I begin, I'd like to first congratulate and welcome you all into this fine academia. As you already know you will spend the next four years here at Beacon to learn and better yourselves for what awaits you just outside our borders. The fact that you made it into Beacon is proof that you are skilled and talented individuals who by no means paid or cheated your way into getting here.

Jaune: *cough*

Dolan: But let me just say this. While you may have gotten into Beacon...

Dolan: Don't assume you're Hot Shit! As far as I'm concerned you all are just a bunch of amateurs who think that you know everything, that now that you're here everything is going to be A-O-K, that you'll be able to just cruise on through this place without any problems and become huntsmen and huntresses. I'm sorry but who the FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU PEOPLE ARE!!!?

Hearing this everyone in the room was caught off guard by his words.

Dolan: But that's ok that's why I'm here! I'm going to show you where you stand!

Dolan: So, with that in mind we're going to start things off with a pop quiz and before you all start whining like a bunch of little bitches let me just say it's a very simple quiz.
