Enter the Wisdom Goddess
I looked ahead. We were walking in the shining streets of Olympus. Ahead of me was Annabeth, Piper and Hazel, talking, laughing and giggling. I smiled in content. Then my eyes lowered and met their series of very different yet equally enticing line of asses. My smile grew a whole less wholesome.
I was walking a couple of steps behind them, with Jason at my side.
"I'm serious man," Jason was saying. He was forbidden to use any honourific on me while we were in public. "I know that you are OK with a bow, but at least having some rudimentary skill in sword fighting will be very beneficial to you in the long run. Just think about the -"
"Fine," I said rolling my eyes. "I'll give it some thought. Man you're - why have we stopped?"
Jason shook his head, confused, and we walked briskly over to the girls. And when I saw Annabeth's face, I stopped in shock. I've seen Annabeth angry a couple of times before, but now... her face was contorted so much by anger that she seemed more like an animals'. I followed her eyes to see what she was looking at. And in a couple of steps in front of us was Annabeth's mom: Athena, the goddess of wisdom, war, arts and crafts and a bunch of other stuff.
The goddess was of the average height of deity when they were in the presence of mortals, a couple of heads taller than a tall person. She was wearing a bizarre costume, mixing modern clothes with ancient armour. Athena was wearing a pair of normal jeans and a standard Greek armour, except hers were solid gold and she was wearing a white T shirt underneath. She was wearing a horse hair plumed war helmet, underneath which a few strands of black hair escaped. Eyes as grey and determined as Annabeth's stared back at us. Her face looked regal, commanding, beautiful and intimidating. I can't wait to cover it with cum and spit.
Once again I looked at Annabeth's face, twisted by anger. I remembered when I was first hypnotizing her, drawing out the repressed resentment she has for her family so that she would fall easier. This is going to be fun.
"Mom," Annabeth said, spitting out the word as if it was poison.
"Annabeth," Athena said, calm and composed. She looked over at the others and started to acknowledged them. "Jason. Hazel. Piper. And I don't recognize the other one. You must be the new camp director, am I correct?"
Before. I could answer, Annabeth spoke up. "He's my boyfriend." She said proudly, chin up, as if that fact would make her mother jealous. Well in Annabeth's eyes I'm the most perfect being in the universe, so it actually makes sense for her to think so.
Athena, however, only raised a dainty eyebrow. "Yes I've heard news about this, but I didn't believe it. He seems smarter than the last one, but uglier by far."
Immediately there was an angry buzz in the group. I saw the girls all opening their mouths for their own retorts and Jason's fingers twitch ever so slightly towards the hilt of his sword. Before they could do say or do something stupid, I stepped up and said something even more stupider. "Well my lady, some of us have bad looks and good qualities. And others look absolutely stunning but are also the type of people to challenge an innocent girl into a weaving contest and then turn her into a monster when she wins." I said hurling back Athena's greatest shame right into her face. Normally I could have shrugged off a comment like that no problem, but after an year if being worshipped by hot babes has made me far less humble.
Athena meanwhile, was steaming. Quite literally. She began to walk over to me, eyes blazing. "HOW DARE YOU, YOU PUNY MORT-"
Before she could do anything, Annabeth stepped in between us. Seeing her daughter, Athena's anger (and the steam) dissipated, and the goddess returned to her usual composed self.
"What do you want mom?" Annabeth asked wearily.
"I would like to speak with you. Alone." She looked at the rest of us. "Leave."
The others started leaving reluctantly, mutely grumbling. I wasn't going to leave, but Annabeth held on to my hand anyway, grasping it so tightly that my hand went numb. She seems to think my hand was some sort of safety net. Athena again raised an eyebrow.
"He stays," Annabeth said in a firm tone that made it clear that she would not have anything said to the contrary. She was very much like her mom actually, though she would probably strangle anyone who brought up the point.
Athena grumbled, but started to speak anyway. "Annabeth. Are you still holding on to this trivial anger?"
Clearly, Athena had no previous experience in apologizing and Annabeth's fuming showed that. "Trivial? Trivial? Is that what you would call it? Oh Ok then. Let me just let go of my trivial anger of my mom abandoning me when I needed her the most, disowning me because I wasn't a psycho who wanted to wage war on the Romans and saying that the only way for me to be accepted was to go on a mission to fight off a giant immortal spider monster that you created, a mission that all other children of Athena embarked on failed! I fell to Tartarus trying to do that! But it's supposedly trivial, so I'll just forget about it then!" By the time Annabeth was done her voice was so shrilly that it was giving me a headache.
Athena looked up and down the street uneasily, probably to see if anyone overheard the conversation. Fortunately for her the street was empty. The goddess fidgeted, clearly not used to people shouting at her and pointing out her flaws. If a normal person does that to a goddess they would be scurrying around as a cockroach in five minutes.
"Please Annabeth," Athena said. "I was torn between my Greek and Roman forms, I didn't know what I was saying. You must understand. You must forgive me!"
I flinched at Athena's use of words. She really doesn't know her daughter. Annabeth hates being told that she must do anything. Except when it's me of course.
"Oh must I? Must I? You know what? Forget this. I have a new family now. I don't need you." Annabeth shouted. Then, grabbing my arm, she marched off, leaving me with a final glance at the regally beautiful goddess looking at us.
Once we were out of Athena's sight, Annabeth set her sight on an iron street light, and began to punch it with all her might. With her demigod strength, the pole was bent in two with just three punches. Then, she turned to me and hugged me fiercely. "You must promise that you would take her down," she whispered in my ear. "You already know all the horrible shit she has done, not just to me, but to a lot of other people. My mom can't change. Olympians can't change. Unless you take away everything from them that matters to them. Their power, their pride, their dignity..."
I lightly stroked Annabeth's blonde hair while returning her hug with another. "Don't worry love. I am already on it."
