Ernest Sinclaire IV

Couple days after the business trip, you can't stop thinking about what happened in your room. How he aggressively kissed you, ravaged you, like a best in hunger. You thought, what was going on with him?

Was he jealous? Could be? But then you shook your head. You know that your affair with him is just nothing but something like fuck buddies. There is nothing going on between you except for the fucking.

But then you wonder, if that is not, what could it be?

Your thoughts get interrupted when the door opened and in comes an old man in a wheelchair with his assistant. You know who they are.

You were shocked upon seeing them. You know your boss doesn't have a meeting his father today. But in the years you have worked for the fifth Sinclaire, you know that the fourth Sinclaire would come unannounced.

You immediately stood up and greeted them. "Mr. Sinclaire! Good morning! I will page y-"

He raises his hand to stop you from blabberring. Shortly after, his assistant, a red-headed woman wheels him inside the office. She then looks at you and tells you, "Bring us tea," in heavy Russian accent.

You shivered but follows her order. Less than five minutes later, you announce yourself before entering the room. Once you entered, you noticed the heavy tension in the room. As you pass the tea, the elder Sinclaire spoke. "Ernest, I want you to understand how difficult the situation is right now. I want you to know the importance this brings to our family."

The fifth Sinclaire scoffed. "Father, I have told you many times already that I am not interested in the prospect of getting married. Not now, not ever."

Married? They were speaking about marriage? Your boss' marriage?

The elder sighed in exasperation. "Ernest, I am getting older and so are you! I need to have the next heir to inherit our business! In order to do so, you must get married with the woman I have chosen for you and give me the next heir!"

Your boss laughed bitterly. "You forgot something, Father. I am not interested in women." He said that as he is looking towards you. You blushed but tried to stay professional.

The elder sighed again. "I know that already, son." Your eyes widen. He knows? Since when? Did your boss come out to his father or did his father knew about this all along? Then you suddenly thought of something, what if he knew that his son is fucking you?!

Oh God.

Your boss laughed bitterly again. "You remembered." But then his smile evaporated and is replaced with a murderous glare. "I hope you also remembered him, Father. For what you did."

His father looked away, bowing his head then cleared his throat. "Well, I did what was right for your future."

Your boss rolled his eyes. "How many times have I heard that already?"

As you have finally poured their tea, you leave the room but you feel your boss staring at your back.

Their conversation lasted for two hours. The doors open and out comes the fourth Sinclaire being wheeled away by his assistant. But before he left, he looks at you and asks, "You, what is your name?"

You gulped. "David. David Grayson, sir." You hoped that you spoke well and not jittery.

He looks at you like as if he is scanning you then leaves. You sigh in relief. You sag in your chair but then you thought of your boss.

You looked at him inside his office and see him standing in the window while cradling his drink.

You then think about what happened earlier. Marriage. So the elder Sinclaire wants your boss to get married and have kids. You then thought that how his father right, only partly. At your boss' age, he should've gotten married already and with children. But he never settled down.

You've always wondered why but you have never gotten the courage to ask. You sigh. You decide to get back to work.
