Pretty good

"So, how is it?" Jaune asked hopefully. By now, both he and Pyrrha were sitting down in the restaurant, about a ten minute walk from the automated taxi station. After Pyrrha had explained what certain dishes were, they had ordered and taken a seat in one of the booths. Now, they had their food, and Jaune was awaiting the judgement on his choice for their first date.

"It's pretty good," Pyrrha nodded, much to Jaune's relief. "It has a bit more spice than I'm used to, but it's definitely Mistralian food."

"Good," Jaune smiled, taking a bite of his own food. "I was really nervous that the night would be ruined, if the food was bad."

"You don't have to worry," Pyrrha assured him. "The meal was just a bonus. Tonight is about us spending time with each other."

Jaune nodded, remaining quiet for a moment.

"You know...I asked Nora for some advice, for tonight."

"Oh?" Pyrrha perked up at that. "And what did she say?"

Jaune blushed before he spoke again.

"That I should take you into the bathroom and...screw your brains out. Although...she didn't say screw."

Pyrrha covered her mouth to stifle a laugh, not wanting to spray her food all over the table.

"Did she really?" Pyrrha asked once she had swallowed her food. "Did you tell her what we did on the roof of the dorms?"

"I didn't tell her anything," Jaune responded. "I guess...that's her idea of romantic."

"I don't know whether to feel happy for Ren, or sorry," Pyrrha said, causing both of them to laugh.

The conversation then shifted to their childhoods, each describing their experiences growing up. Eventually, Jaune asked a question that had been burning in his mind for some time.

"So...when you changed our training routine to...what it is now," he started. "Was that your first time doing something like that?"

Pyrrha blushed at the question. It was a fair one, though.

"Well...I'd never done that sort of thing back home. The most daring thing I did was wear a one-piece to the beach, once. I just offered it because I figured it'd be a good incentive to make you stay."

"But did you enjoy it, though?" Jaune asked, leaning closer.

Pyrrha seriously considered the question for a moment. During the training, all of her attention had been on...well...training. Making sure Jaune was getting the most out of the experience as he could. But, if she was being honest with herself...

"Yes," Pyrrha eventually said. "Yes, I did enjoy showing off for you."

Jaune nodded, satisfied with that answer and going back to his food.
