New opportunities

Work was busy but nothing Sean couldn’t handle and because he was less stressed in the office, everything seemed a little easier. Chloe seemed busy but because he was more relaxed he felt like they were spending more quality time and their sex life had improved. Chloe always badgered him for sex in the past but the small increase in the frequency of their lovemaking seemed to be enough to satisfy her. She was even masturbating less frequently and Sean looked at the camera feeds a lot less. This was partially because he was used to them and they had lost their novelty a bit and in part, because there was less to watch without Magnus coming around.

He did still fantasise about Chloe doing things with other men and occasionally in the bedroom she would talk about things that would turn him on but he was so focused on work that he didn’t have the desire to have something like that going on right now. He decided that once things calm down they could look into getting on a fetish site to meet someone or maybe inviting Magnus over for some fun.

Weeks passed and there were rumblings in the office about new developments. One day Mr Price pulled him into his office. Sean sat down across from him. Mr Price wasn’t particularly tall but he was broadly built. He must have been quite physically powerful in his youth but there was a layer of fat over what muscle was once there. He was quite imposing and Sean couldn’t help but be intimidated.

“Sean, you might have heard about new projects. Nothing has been announced but I’m aware that office gossip works quicker than any email,” Mr price said, reclining in his large leather chair

“Yes, I don’t know what but there is a lot of talk.” Sean tried not to sound nervous. He wasn’t doing very well.

“There is too much to go into right now but put simply, we are expanding our operations and a part of that is setting up new offices in other parts of the country. Garry is project managing the new offices and we both agree that you would be a good candidate to be a part of the project. We need a competent person to handle staff training and easing new teams into our workflow. It would be somewhat of a promotion so there would be an increase in wages. There is some travel involved but we can make sure you’re well looked after with regards to expenses and accommodation. What do you say?”

He was definitely interested but asked if he could have a day to think about it and discuss it with Chloe. When he got home he told Chloe all about it. “So, what do you think?” he asked her.

“I think you should say yes. What is there to think about?” she replied.

“I don’t know. I’m not sure about the travel and it is moving me towards management instead of what I trained for.”

“Baby,” said Chloe seriously. “If you love accounting so much then do this for a bit and if you hate it, find another job somewhere else that will pay you more because you have so much more experience under your belt. As far as the travel thing goes, just put up with it. Do it for six months, a year. It’s not that long all things considered and you will be so desirable to other companies. It’s short term suffering for a long term benefit.”

Sean sighed. “You’re right. You know I love being at home with you. I’ll miss you when I’m away.”

Chloe sat in his lap and cuddled him. “I know baby but I seriously think that doing this will get you what you want in the long term.”

Sean held her. She was such a rock. Soon their cuddle turned to kissing and then to so much more.
