getting a better mission

"Here you go mam," said Naruto giving the cat to the daimyo's wife. the cat was not struggling but that may be because Naruto had a kunai hidden against its stomach. as she took the cat, he hid the kunai into his sleeve. only the Hokage and Kakashi noticed his action. Kakashi gave him an eye smile and the Hokage had a small smirk.

"Excellent work team 7," said the Hokage ignoring the pain filled screams of the cat as it was taken out of the room. "There is still time in the day if you want to do another mission. we have yard work, painting a house, babysitting."

"Tora no," said the Daimyo's wife.

"And recapturing Tora," he said while shaking his head.

"Dead or alive," asked Naruto with hope.

"Alive only," said the Hokage with a laugh.

"Pass then," said Naruto.

"Enough these chores should not be done by a Uchiha elite like me. there must be better missions than this," said Sasuke in annoyance.

"Sasuke, you need to show proper respect to the Hokage," said Iruka who was helping file paperwork today.

Sasuke was about to respond when Kakashi put a hand on his shoulder. he then let out a sigh and said, "perhaps a harder mission is in order." he honestly thought only Naruto was ready but hopefully seeing life outside the village will help the other two.

the Hokage looked at Kakashi for a moment before letting out a sigh. he knew what he was planning and while not happy knew it was most likely necessary. "Very well then how about," he started to say.
