Someone beneath you

“Someone beneath you,” said Sean

Chloe leaned forward. “Someone beneath me? What do you mean?” she asked.

“You see, Magnus was great and I’m really thankful that we had him to help me realise my peculiarities but the thing is, it makes too much sense for you to be sleeping with him.”

Chloe giggled. “That’s a funny thing to say. I guess I know what you mean though. He is very desirable.”

“Exactly. I see you with him and it just makes sense. I want to see you with someone who leaves me wondering why you would choose him over me.”

“That makes a twisted kind of sense. I’m not sure though. I’m not sure I want to fuck some ugly guy just to satisfy your kink,” Chloe mused.

“He doesn’t have to be ugly or gross, just out of your league,” explained Sean.

“You think you are out of my league.”

“That’s true,” Sean agreed.

“You are in my league, just so you know,” Chloe gently chastised.

“I’ll take your word for it.”

“You better,” said Chloe before falling into thought. “So how do you see this playing out?” she asked.

Sean shrugged. “Find a guy, rock his world. After that, I guess I’d want you to get him to a point where he was equally good as me in bed or better. Then you can, you know.”

“Rub your nose in it and tease you about how some pathetic guy fucks better than you do?” Chloe proposed.

Sean gave her a shy smile. “You know me so well.”

“I do now. Thanks to Magnus’s massive cock. Alright,” she said suddenly. “But you are going to have to give me time to look around. I’m not sure where we are going to meet the right sort of guy and I’m going to be picky.”

Sean agreed and they returned to their lives for a while. Things were put on hold as finally Chloe landed a job. She wouldn’t have thought about applying for it had she not been thinking about geeky guys but she had seen the advert and thoughts of dweebs to fuck had made her apply. She was now working as the social media assistant manager for a games company.

Much to her surprise, the office was not full of dweebs but perfectly normal people including women, some of whom were just as attractive as she was. Three were a handful of nerdy guys she was too worried about damaging her career to risk doing anything, at least yet.

Time passed and she got to know the job and even started playing some of the games they sold so she could understand them better. She had good colleagues and she was making good money so Chloe and Sean decided to buy an apartment instead of renting. A new place, bigger and nicer than their old one and they were on the property ladder.

It was one midweek evening when she was checking the mail that she bumped into the ideal candidate. Stood next to her was a man of similar age, average height and a little on the plump side. He had messy brown hair and a round face, he wasn’t ugly but he was badly dressed in a T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms. She busted him looking at her and before she had even made the decision to pursue him, she realised he must be a neighbour so she said hello.

“Hi,” she said brightly, making the man jump a little. “I’m Chloe. We just moved in. We are in flat 12. I’m guessing we must be neighbours.”

“Oh, hi, nice to meet you,” the man said nervously. “I’m Colin.”

“Nice to meet you Colin,” Chloe said. She extended her hand and with a look of disbelief, Colin shook it. It wasn’t the most confident handshake but it wasn’t floppy. “Which flat are you in?”

“Oh, er, fifteen.”

“Oh my god, you are just down the hall from us. I’m so pleased I get to meet you. Are you going up?” she asked, nodding her head towards the lift.

“Huh? Oh, yes,” he said as he closed his mailbox and accompanied Chloe.

They got into the lift together and Chloe pressed the button for their floor. “What do you do for a living Colin?” She asked, making polite conversation.

“I’m a web developer. I build and manage websites.”

“That’s cool, do you work in an office?”

“No I work from home but I see clients in offices.”

“Nice.” She was being over effusive but beyond her husband’s interests, she wanted to be in with someone in the same building. “I just started a new job myself,” she said, throwing him a conversational bone.

“Really? Who with?”

Chloe was relieved that he wasn’t totally useless. “Enormous Games. I work with their social media.”

“Really?” said Colin sounding genuinely interested. “That must be pretty exciting.”

“Well, I’m not really making anything but I’m really enjoying it.”

The lift arrived and they came to Chloe’s door. “Well, it’s lovely meeting you, Colin. I hope we can chat again sometime,” she said smiling sweetly.

Colin melted a little bit. “Er, yeah, I’d really like that. I’m just down the hall, you know, if you need anything.”

“Thank you, that’s so sweet. Bye Colin.”

“Bye.”

She closed the door and smiled a cheeky smile to herself. “This might be fun,” she said to herself.
