Chapter 10 by Decadent Empire Decadent Empire

What is your plan?

Claim the vehicle

The reward is well worth the risk. "Allen, you go around the corner and make some noise to distract them. I'm going to run up and tag the Stryker. Amelia, you cover me from here, and Jeremy, you stay at the wheel. I need you to be ready to get us the hell out of here if this all goes south." Amelia and Jeremy look unhappy, but they nod. Allen runs around the back of the building you are hiding behind as you sneak as close as possible to the APC as you can without being noticed. Once you are as close as you can get, you can do nothing but wait. The seconds tick by as you wait for Allen to make his move.

You were just thinking about turning back when you hear an explosion from around the corner. You wait a half a second, then rush towards the vehicle. You sprint as fast as you can, your attention so fixated on the backs of the soldiers that you nearly run right into the truck. You duck behind it, your hand trembling as you reach for the marker. It falls to the ground and you silenty curse, picking it back up. Popping the cap off you scribble your name on the Stryker. You let out your breath. It's done.

Or is it? You hear one of the soldiers yell and they both start heading in your direction. Shit, there is nothing stopping them from just shooting you! Before they can reach you, a door opens to the Vehicle and a female soldier steps out and shouts, "Wait!" The footsteps stop. She shouts in your general direction, "Are you Michael?"

"That's me!"

"Fuck. This is his Stryker now," she says, addressing her soldiers. "Can we talk?"

"Yeah, as long as you walk over with your hands up!" you shout back. You keep your gun trained on the side of the vehicle as she slowly walks around with her hands in the air. You surprised to see a tall, good looking woman step out with her hands in the air. Her helmet is off and she has her long, brown hair done up in a bun.

"Easy, easy. My hands are up. No reason to shoot."

"Who are you?" you demand.

"My name is Lieutenant Mills. I just want to talk."

"Then talk."

"Okay, no problem. Listen, my squad and I ha e been living out of this Stryker for the last couple weeks. It's our home."

"It was your home. It's mine now."

"I know. I just want to know what it will take for you to let us use it. It takes a trained crew to operate, and no offense, I don't think you would even be able to get it moving."

Shit, you hadn't even thought about that. Of course, there are ways of getting them on your side. "You're right. I still need you and your team to operate it. How about we make a deal?"

She narrows her eyes at you suspiciously. "What do you want from us? We have weapons, ammo. Information on military supply caches."

"I have a different idea. All I want is to write something on you and your team. That's all."

"That's all?" Now her suspicions are even greater. Her mind is turning but she can't see a way that this could go bad. If only she knew. "Fine." She rolls up her sleeve. "Go ahead."

"And have you attack me the second I get close. No thanks. Turn around." You can see her consider what you're saying. She doesn't want to turn your back on you, but she knows that she has backup just on the other side of the APC. She slowly turns around. "Place your hands on the vehicle." She does and you talk up and lift up her shirt a bit.

"Don't get any ideas back there," she grumbles. Too late. Her ass is spectacular, large and toned from long hours of doing squats in the gym. There will be plenty of time for that later, for now, you simply write your name down on her lower back. You quickly explain the rules to her.

"Now, how many soldiers do you have out there?"

"It's just me, Garcia, Foreman, and Zhang." You can hear her grit her teeth and she gives up her soldiers against her will.

"Call them over here, one at a time. And act like everything is normal."

"Garcia! I need you over here!" Garcia rushes around the corner, her M4 held at the ready. Garcia is a tiny Hispanic woman whose small stature only makes her big butt look even bigger.

"What's going on, ma'am?" Garcia asks her LT.

"Not much. I just made a deal to get our truck back. This gentleman just needs to write his name on your lower back." Garcia looks taken aback. "I know, I know, it's weird, but that's it. No funny business." She lifts her shirt up and turns to show Garcia where you wrote your name, "See? I got one, too."

Garcia's apprehension is overpowered by her military discipline. Next thing she knows, your name is plastered right above her big ass. The other two soldiers follow suit, one by one, surprising you by being an all female team. Foreman is a white girl of average height and build with glasses and brown hair. Zhang is the teams medic, a petite Asian girl, a similar height to Garcia, but with a much slimmer build. Just like that, the risk has paid off even better than you could have anticipated. Not only do you now have a heavily armed and armored vehicle, but you lucked out with an all female, all hot squad to go with it. You decide to ride back home with your new additions, informing Jeremy, Allen, and Amelia to tail the military vehicle back.

You sit down in the back and put on a headset as you rumble away and address LT Mills, "So, an all woman squad, huh? How did that happen?"

Although clearly not happy to be in this situation, she still answers your question with pride, "It was my idea, actually. An all female Stryker team was seen as a good publicity stunt for the National Guard, but we actually preformed. Better than almost all of the other teams."

"I see. And how did you guys end up here?"

"We were called out during the early days and got separated from the rest of our unit. When communications went down, we went into survival mode. We've been doing that ever since."

"Well, look on the bright side, at least now you will have a home."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, I guess I haven't told you yet. I own an entire apartment complex, and with the gas we have in the SUV back there, we will have electricity and running water. At least for a little while."

"Hmm." LT Mills is deep in thought on the rest of the drive, with you directing them towards their new home. When you get there, you organize the unloading of the fuel and place the Stryker in front of the door as a first line of defense. As the families and other residents celebrate, the vehicle's squad stands awkwardly off to the side. Obviously they are not yet a part of the building, and it's up to you how you plan on integrating them into your community.

What do you do with the female soldiers?
