The worst support

Jessica followed the map, which took her down various different streets. The further she got, the poorer and more run down the area became. After about a 20 minute walk, Jessica finally reached her destination. There was a male teenager no older than 15 stood behind a stall, which had a sign saying "non permit support" above the stall.

Jessica didn't trust a child, but she had ****. She walked up to the desk, cautious as ever. "Excuse me, I've been told to come here if I can't get a permit." Jessica told the boy, who was glued to his phone. "I don't do that stuff you'll have to wait until mom gets back." He muttered, not even looking at Jessica. "Well how long will that take!? All my stuff has been stolen by that dumb machine and I need it now!" Jessica complained, her frustration of not getting anywhere fuelled her anger.

The boy glanced up, instantly recognizing Jessica. She was the reporter who exposed a car company for fraudulent activity, it received many lawsuits and eventually became bankrupt. His mom was one of the managers at the company and lost everything. She couldn't get a new job as every background check associated her with the company's incident. This **** her to take her son to Pinesdale and live the rest of her days as a non permit support worker. The boy and his mom blamed Jessica for ruining their lives.

A plot formed in his head as a smirk formed on his face. "Okay, I remember mom had a job opportunity lined up, it'll help you get a permit let me go find it." The boy bent down underneath the stall and began to search for something. Jessica nodded and waited patiently, by swiftly tapping her foot.

The boy found what he was looking for, a set of instructions for a prank he was gonna pull on his worst enemies, Jessica definitely fit that description. He stood back up holding the piece of paper. "Now I do need to say, non permit jobs are really hard to get, and there is an entry requirement, it's a bit challenging and odd but this is the only opportunity we have for you right now, do you accept?" He explained to Jessica.

Jessica instantly grabbed the paper, she was willing to anything to get her stuff back. "I don't care what it is so long as my stuff is in good condition and back in my possession!" She claimed and swiftly started to walk away. The boy smiled, his plan had worked. "One last thing, I gave you a map along with the instructions, to help you find the place. Do not open the instructions until you get there." He explained, in disbelief that his prank actually worked.

Jessica nodded and walked off, following the map. She once again walked down various different streets, leaving the town and entering a small neighbourhood. The map lead her to a relatively large house at the end of the street. She stood on the front porch by the front door and checked the house number. Once she confirmed she was in the right place, Jessica opened the instructions. Her jaw dropped as she read what was required.
