Stay Together or Split Up?

Don't Split The Party

Lois Lane grabbed the witch's elbow.

"Let's stick together!" she shouted above the music...and dragged Zatanna toward the bar. While few of the patrons stared at the reporter's frankly unimpressive rack, the natural size of Zatanna's d-cups was attracting attention—and Lois figured that was good. Maybe they could use that.

At the bar, they ordered bottles of some Gotham IPA...and the bartender openly leered, asking if Zatanna wanted any extra ice for her nipples. Used to performing, Zatanna smiled and said nothing. Lois popped the top on her brew and took the first sticky-sweet swig, glancing around the room...and noticed the cluster of photographs on the wall in the corner of the room.

She elbowed Zatanna, who turned and followed the reporter's gaze. Arm in arm, carrying the beers in their off-hands, the two threaded their way around the dance floor...and nobody gave them a second glance, except perhaps a lingering, jealous look at Zatanna's mammaries. At one point, the witch leaned over and whispered in the reporter's ear.

"They must think we're lovers!"

Lois grinned back, feeling sudden sweat run down her temples, not sure how she should answer that. In truth, she was thinking some very non-platonic thoughts about her friend Z at the moment...but Lois Lane was a professional first, and bi-curious later.

They arrived at the photographs on the wall...and it was all pairs of women, together, topless, drinking and smiling. Lois couldn't see any rhyme or reason...but she made out several of the faces.

"Tonya...and Jenny...and Mara...and Diana," Lois jabbed a finger out to two sets of couples. "Those are the missing women I came to find."

Zatanna lay her head against the reporter's shoulder, and Lois Lane's heart skipped a beat. They sipped on their beers, the crowd leaving them alone for the moment...and then the witch noticed something about all the women in the photographs.
