Go find his Mother

Luke was storming out out of the chancellors office with Leia chasing after him.
"Luke! What were you thinking? You can't just run off like that! All of this isn't confirmed yet!"
"I know it's true. I feel it."
"You don't even have a real plan."
"I'm going to find our mother. That's my plan."
"But you don't know where she is!"
"She's on Lwhekk. That's where I will find her."
"You can't search a whole planet on your own."
"I will sense her presence. Like I did with father."
Leia was getting quite **** already. She knew Luke. He wouldn't change his mind just like that. But she had one last argument up her sleeve. She tried to reach through to his sense of Duty.
"And what about the Jedi?"
"They've been in those things for almost 30 years. They can wait a bit longer."
She feared he would say that. But maybe a small part of her also hoped it.
"Then I'll come with you!"
"What?!"
For the first time in this conversation Luke stopped walking and turned to look at Leia with disbelief.
"She's my mother as well. I want to help you find her!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
Luke just shrugged. He knew he couldn't convince Leia to stay and who knows? It will maybe be easier with her help.
"Wait, where are we going?"
Only now Leia noticed that they weren't heading towards ship but instead in the direction of the the apartment complex.
"I'm going to get Mara.", Luke simply answered as if it was no big deal.
"You want to take a Sith on a rescue mission to find our mother?"
"No. I don't want a Sith to be around few the last surviving members of the Jedi Order, while they are completely helpless"
"So you're just gonna take her with us."
"Don't worry. I'll look after her. Besides, I don't think she'll do us any harm anymore."
"Fine. But I'll shoot her as soon as she she acts up just a bit."
Luke shrugged again. They've finally arrived at Luke's apartment. As soon as he saw Luke the guard watching Mara stepped aside and let them in. Everything was just as Luke left it, there was no sign of Mara. Stepping further in, Luke looked around the living room. Luke noticed that the door to his bedroom was closed. Suspecting the worst he rushed towards his room and swung open his door. Only to find Mara only in her underwear laying in his bed and playing lazily with a training device she found in his personal stuff.

"A bit of privacy please! Geez!", Mara shouted, while trying to cover herself up with the bed sheets.
"This is my room. So I think I'm in the right here.", Luke answered and smirked.
"Yeah, whatever. Just look away while I get dressed! Okay?"
"Alright, but hurry up. We meet at the shuttle."
"Why? We just left. Where are you taking me now?", Mara complained.
But Luke didn't pay much attention anymore. He just turned around and made his way to the shuttle with Leia following him silently.

Back at the shuttle the guard was still watching the carbonites. Luke told him, he can leave now. And took hold of the carbonites.
"I will take them to the Jedi temple. Could you please get the shuttle ready for takeoff, while I'm away?", he asked Leia.
She just nodded awkwardly and without anything more to say to her Luke just lifted the carbonites with the **** and let them float next to him.

On his walk to the Jedi Temple Luke had a lot of time to think about everything that has bothered him recently. Mara for example: He understood Leia's concerns about her very well. After all she still was a Sith assassin. But he wanted to give her a chance, show her the Jedi Way. Again the thought of using his new powers came to him. But he couldn't do that right? That was not the Way after all. But still... A little fail-safe wouldn't hurt, would it? Just to be sure. Luke let out a deep sigh. If anything ever happened to sister because of him, he would never forgive himself. If he was able to protect his family, then he would. Hesitating to find the right words, he thought a little about how to do the least harm to Mara, before making his wish: I wish that Mara Jade will never be able to hurt me or any other Member of my family. Better be safe than sorry they said...
With that out of the way Luke had one less thing to worry about. But his main concern was still there. Leia. He knew that he lusted after her. There was no denying it. But everybody had these sort of fantasies from time to time, right? There was nothing wrong about that, as long as it stayed just a fantasy. But those new wish-granting powers of his didn't really quite contribute to it staying just a fantasy. He could just-- NO! Luke thought to himself. He couldn't just manipulate his sisters mind like that. But he also couldn't deny his urges anymore. Luke didn't know what to do anymore. For now he just promised to himself to not do anything to his sister she potentially wouldn't want. But he also wouldn't resist if things played out a certain direction...
Lost in his thoughts Luke barely even noticed that he was already inside the Jedi Temple. The guards just let him wordlessly in upon recognizing him. He quickly hid the carbonites in a safe location and went back to the shuttle, trying to free his head of all the thoughts.

All of the shuttle's engines were already turned up and Leia and Mara were just waiting for him to arrive. He sat in the pilot's seat and took a glimpse at Leia before taking off.
