The Redemption of Gina Walker

Susan's P.O.V.

I was quickly surrounded by Gina's lackeys. They grabbed hold of me and began to drag me to the storehouse.

“You idiots!" I screamed. "Can't you see that she is controlled by that Marcie bitch! You are all being made fools of!”

I was shoved onto the floor.

"I will speak to my slave alone", Gina said.

Once the other lackeys had all left, I was alone with Gina.

"What happened to your curse?" I asked her.

"Marcie has sold you out." Gina told me.

"Why?"

I was heartbroken. Sure, I might have disobeyed Marcie but throwing me to Gina? That was far too cruel. I thought she my friend. I cried. Marcie had betrayed me and left me at the mercy of Gina. But instead of the cruelty I had come to expect, Gina put her arms round me and wept.

"I'm sorry, Susan." she said. "I'm sorry for how I treated you. You had always been loyal to me and I betrayed you. I should never have done that but I promise you, I will be better."

I cried into Gina's arms.

"Thank you, Gina." I said.

I wasn't sure if Gina did care about me. All I knew was that Marcie didn't.

"I will need your help to take down Marcie." Gina said.

"Don't worry, Gina." I said. "Marcie will pay for what she did to both of us."

"That said." said Gina. "Marcie will expect me to use you to let off steam. That was her intention. I can't do anything violent even if I want to but it will look strange if I don't punish you for earlier."

"I understand." I said.
