Arriving at TAO.

"Thank you, Jonathan," Iris smiled politely, taking her son's hand for support as she stepped out of the SUV limousine.

"I don't want to fall!" Zoe whimpered, not wanting to slip and fall with her high heels and tight dress on despite Jonathan's assurance and him holding her hand.

Some of the other girls rolled their eyes.

"Do you want me to carry you down?" he asked.

The petite programmer anxiously nodded.

Jonathan slid his hands under her armpits and picked her up like a parent would with their scared child off of a playground slide.

"Thank you, Jon!" Zoe chirped and carefully walk onto the sidewalk while Jonathan helped the rest of the women step out of the limousine.

Allison pulled Zoe aside. "Did you actually need Jon's help getting out of the limo?"

"Maybe," Zoe shrugged with a giggle. "Maybe not..."

Allison rolled her eyes as they joined the rest of the group at the entrance to TAO Los Angeles, a trendy Pan-Asian restaurant located on Selma Avenue. Iris talked to the hostess, who smiled and escorted everyone inside.

The restaurant consisted of a dynamic two-level space with a lounge with large bar, two private dining areas, and massive main dining room. A grand staircase, with round banquettes and Chinese daybed-influenced sofas, connected TAO’s ground and lower levels, creating the ultimate platform to see and be seen. A huge twenty-foot-tall Quan Yin statue stood atop a koi pond, where subtle 3D animations using projection mapping technology brought the statue to life.

"Have you been here before?" Natalie asked the triplets as they were led to the set of stairs to one of the private dining balconies that overlooked the ground floor below.

The sisters shook their heads.

"I wish! This is trendy restaurant where people come to be seen," Amber replied. "It's beyond my price range!"

"Yeah, I heard the average table costs around two grand!" Crystal added.

"One piece of sushi is like ten dollars!" Jade noted.

"Wow!" the women beamed after they reached the top of the stairs and looked over the railing to the main dining area below full of guests dressed to be seen.

"Please have a seat, ladies," Jonathan said, holding the chair out for his mother.

"Where are you going to sit, Jon?" Cindy wondered as he held the chair next to Iris for Zoe.

"The last chair that remains, I guess," he shrugged and held the chair for Natalie.

Cindy waited at the end of the long table as Jonathan held the chair for each of the young women.

"Thank you, Jon," Lauren smiled as she sat down.

"Last but not least," Jonathan said, holding the chair for Cindy before he sat at the far end of the table, opposite of his mother.

On cue three waitresses stepped forward to ask the group for drinks before giving them menus.

"Gosh, I'm so glad that Julie's picking up the bill!" Leah gasped after looking at the menu prices.

"Everything on the menu is tempting," Eva noted as she looked at the Chinese, Japanese, and Thai-inspired gourmet dishes.

"The portions are probably small enough I won't burst out of this dress," Hane giggled.

Jonathan almost spat out his water at the thought of Hane's large breasts popping out of her skintight dress.

Two waiters appeared with bottles of Champagne in ice buckets.

"We didn't order these," Iris told the waiters.

"The Champagne were ordered by Ms. Chen," one of the waiters replied as he popped the cork to the delight of the women. The waiters went around the table to pour the sparkling white wine for the women.

"To Julie!" Iris cheered, raising her glass of Champagne.

"To Julie!" everyone joined in with their glasses raise in the toast.

"You don't drink?" Lauren wondered.

"I never have," he shook his head, sipping his water.

"Well, that's more Champagne for me," Allison smirked, reaching over to grab his flute.
