A Different World

Freshman Year

Your alarm goes off, its 6:00am and you open your eyes, the dim streak of light beaming through the crack of your window curtains. You get out of your double bed and walk out of your room, taking a left towards the kitchen you see your mum Charlotte getting ready for work. She hums as her hand reaches for the black handbag dangling on the back of the dinning room chair.

Charlotte "Good morning sweetie, did you sleep well? I cooked you some eggs and bacon before you go to school, I love you, see you tonight, bye"

She leaves with her keys wrattling in her hand as she closes the door behind her

You "B...bye"

This is very normal for you, your mother is a very hardworking woman who isnt around the house much so you are usually alone at home or school or at Claire's place.

You eat your breakfast, take a quick shower and put on your clothes. As you grab your school bag and house key, you take your wallet and phone along with you before heading out.
