Taking a look around

Opening her eyes, Carla wasn't sure what to expect with this room. Four tan colored walls surrounded her, met with a white tile floor.

"Ugh..." the grandmother muttered and stared down at herself. The outfit she had been wearing was now gone, replaced with white evening gown with blue dots across the front. Pushing away the covers, her gaze turned to a window. Outside, Carla could clearly make out a courtyard. A variety of elderly people were going for walks and playing with sporting equipment. Part of her felt a touch jealous, but she pushed that thought out.

Getting up from the bed, Carla took care in walking over to a large wardrobe. Opening it up, she was faced with a variety of vintage clothing. Letting the night gown fall to the floor, she pulled out a floral house dress and stockings. Taking a seat on the floor, it was a cinch to snake the stockings up. Once Carla was happy with the results, she pulled out a set of heels and slipped them onto her feet.

Moving to the floral house dress, that was a bit more of a challenge. Carla had plenty of experience, but this put all of that to the test. It took a couple minutes, but she did eventually accomplish getting it on.

"Now what do we have here?" she whispered and reached into the wardrobe. Out came a set of large hearing aids. A far cry from their more modern brethren, something about them called to her to put them in.
