Chapter 5 by Gray Gremlin Gray Gremlin

Off to the party?

Best Friends

"Geez, could you park any farther?"

Focused on parking her little car in the small space between two trucks, Cassandra Bank barely glanced at her friend in the back seat. She'd long grown accustomed to Tinny's complaining. She had been best friends with her and Bridget since before they started grade school. And despite their differences, the girls maintained their close bond. The bookish, good girl of the trio, Cassie always kept a worried eye on her adventurous friends. Still, that didn't mean she couldn't tease them.

"You know, if you don't like it, Tin, you can get your own car."

"Now, Cass, you know that's not nice. Her parents know it'd be a waste of money as she'd just crash the car in days," Bridget teased.

"C'mon, Cass, just pull up closer to the house and double park behind someone," Tinsley suggested from the back seat, ignoring the teasing. Leaning forward, she squinted to see better. "Over there! Park behind--"

"I will do no such thing," the usually calm Cassandra snapped out of exasperation. "Not only is it rude to block a person in, but it could also be dangerous. What if there is an emergency? What if--"

"Oh, stop being a worrywart," Tinny shot back.

"Well, I have to be with a friend like--"

"Okay, okay, that's enough," Bridget interrupted. "We're here to have a good time. So let's do that. And if you complain again, Tin, we can drop you off on the other side of the lake."

"Hey, I'm just being prepared. Sure, it's nice and sunny out right now. But what about late tonight when it's dark and we're drunk and tired. You want to trip and fall on your face?"

"Oh, we're not staying that late. And you two better lay off on drinking very much. I'm not--hey!" Cassie exclaimed as Bridget snatched the car keys.

"I'll hold on to these," the blonde stated. "That way, you can't line us up a ride so that you can sneak off to go home."

"I would never...that was a special circumstance," Cassandra argued.

"Special circumstance? Please! That excuse only works once, and you used it up at the start of tenth grade," Tinny scoffed.

"Alright, cut out the arguing. It's time to party," Bridget declared, opening the car door and stepping out. Immediately, she put on a pair of sunglasses before leaning down to check her hair in the car's side mirror.

With all three girls opting to wear their bikinis under their clothes, Bridget had thrown on a wispy sundress. Cream-colored, the tiny dress appeared more like a babydoll than an actual day dress.

Cassie also wore a sundress, but hers covered far more skin, hiding her small-to-medium-sized breast and firm ass. Unlike Bridget, Cassie placed her sunglasses up on her head, covering part of her auburn hair. Leaning inside the car, she pulled a large tote bag out of the tiny backseat. Standing up, she began to ask if anyone wanted to add anything to the bag. However, her green eyes caught the sight of a struggling Tinsley.

"What are you doing?"

"Trying...to...get these on," the petite brunette gasped, tugging up a pair of jean shorts.

"You didn't have them on already?" Cassie asked in disbelief.

"Too tight," Tinny explained. Then, noticing Cassie's confused face. "Well, I didn't want to cut off my circulation while in the car. See? I'm learning."

"I don't even..." the redhead started to say before giving up.

"What you think, Bee?" Tinsley asked her more understanding friend.

"You gotta love them Daisy Dukes." Bridget nodded approvingly. She moved over and cocked her hand, but Tinny jumped away.

"No slapping me! These things hurt already."

"Good thing they won't be on for long," Bridget chuckled, moving to lead the trio up the road.

"Hey, ladies!" came the greeting from a group of basketball players near the driveway.

After stopping several times to chat with classmates and old acquaintances, the girls had finally reached the Penfold lakehouse. The vacation home sat on a hilltop overlooking Canary Lake, a sprawling, white two-story building in a Cape Cod style.

"Whoa! Check out Bridget."

Bridget held in the grin at seeing several of the guys go silent as they admired her.

"Looking hot, Tinny."

"Thanks, Jerr," the petite brunette responded, beaming at the way the guys' eyes turned from Bridget to check her out. After they passed the group, she turned toward her blonde friend; Tinny leaned in to whisper a question. "What do you think of Jerry?"

"Hmm, probably the second-best bet on the team with Cody already taken. But don't pick the first guy you see tonight," Bridget advised. "There's supposedly a bunch of guys from Zurbrugg here."

"Oh, right," Tinny nodded. "Hot college guys. What do you think, Cass?"

"Don't drag me into this," the redhead replied, not at all into her friends' boy crazy ways.

"Yeah, Tin, remember the plan. We're going to play matchmaker for Cass closer to homecoming," Bridget made up on the spot.

"Huh? Oh, right!" Tinny nodded, catching the blonde's wink. "Yeah, I have that list of potential boy toys for Cass somewhere."

"You better not," Cassandra warned, not sure if they were serious or not.

"Ooh! Look!" Tinny exclaimed, pointing down toward the lake.

The other two girls saw a volleyball game in progress on the beach. A decent-sized crowd had gathered to watch, more likely for the abundance of glistening skin than the actual contest. All three girls noted that the two mixed teams featured guys they mostly didn't know. That led to a shared look between Bridget and Tinsley.

"Let's drop our stuff off and hurry down there. I want the next turn."

"Why?" Cassie asked in bewilderment. Tinny was far too short to be any good at volleyball.

"Duh! Look at those hot college studs."

"Is that all you--" Cassie began to say but cut herself off as she noticed a commotion closer to the lakehouse. "Well, your volleyball game isn't happening."

"Why not?" Tinny challenged.

"Because that's more up your alley," the redhead responded, gesturing in the other direction of the game.

"Nothing is keeping me from--oh, hell, yeah! I'm soo going to **** someone," Tinny vowed as her eyes lit up.

"What are you two arguing about--oh!" Bridget exclaimed, finally able to pry her eyes away from one particularly handsome college student.

It took Bridget several long seconds to comprehend what she witnessed. There were screams, shrieks, and squeals from a variety of bikini-clad college coeds. Howls and bellows mixed in as a group of guys dashed around, harassing the gasping girls. A wide range of colorful items flew through the air as others turned to point threateningly at their enemies.

Damn, that water looks cold. Bridget thought as the women shivered upon getting hit by an exploding water balloon or a water gun's squirt.

The eyes of the best friend trio swung over as two guys, in particular, appeared to be the instigators of the water fight. One laughed maniacally as he pulled water balloon after water balloon from a large cooler. Passing them off to his friends, Fred Singer pointed out which girls they should focus on.

"Typical," Cassandra muttered under her breath.

The other young man roared a battle cry as he pounded his chest. A beer stein or mug of some sort sat on his head, filling in as a Viking helmet. Reaching up to hold his makeshift helm, the blond berserker took off in a sprint with one hand holding a gigantic water gun that looked like a rifle. With muscles bulging, the water warrior scooped up a squealing blonde bombshell, throwing her over his shoulder.

"Oh, my," Bridget sighed, watching as a brunette's water balloon exploded against the man's back.

Turning around, Harvey Diamond glowered at his attacker. Then, as the brunette threw up her hands in pleading as she slowly backed away, Harvey raised the water rifle.

"You dare to attack me, wench? I'm the water king!"

The brunette shrieked as the stream of cold water hit her chest. Harvey made sure to soak both bikini-clad breasts before his gun ran out. Once it did, he turned his attention back to the blonde over his shoulder. She's spent the last couple of minutes slapping his back while screaming to let her down.

"Never! To the victor goes the spoils of war," Harvey bellowed, slapping the blonde's ass. Then, turning to the soaked brunette, he roared again. "And your fellow courtesan shall join you."

Cassie glanced over at Bridget as Harvey rushed over to scoop up the brunette too. Now with two girls over each shoulder, the young playboy strutted around, showing off his war winnings.

"Uh, Bridget?"

The blonde didn't hear her friend as her eyes devoured the eldest Diamond brother. Moving down his ripped, tanned chest, Bridget's attention dropped down to the navy blue swim trunks. Or to the trunk under the swimsuit. That big bulge sent electric bolts throughout the cheerleader's body as she recalled seeing it unsheathed. Or partially uncovered as it had been pistoning in and out of her older sister's pussy at the time.

"Uh, Bee. Bee!"

"Wha--" Bridget said, snapping out of her daydream. Blinking several times, she turned to look at Cassie.

"You okay?" the redhead inquired.

"I'm fine. Yeah, I'm fine."

"Of course, you're fine. You're at my party!" a high-pitched voice proclaimed.

"A hose. Do you have a hose?" Tinny questioned the newcomer.

"Um, yeah. It's back that--"

"Fucking fantastic!" the petite brunette responded, taking off in a sprint.

"Tin!" Cassie yelled, but her friend kept on going.

"Awesome start to the party, I see," Bridget said, turning just in time.

"My little, little sisters have arrived. Woo-hoo!" the party hostess celebrated.

Shelly Penfold epitomized the classic image of a cheerleader with blonde hair, a perky pair of C-cups, a high-pitched voice, and plenty of energy. Even several years removed from her last days as a cheerleader, everything about Shelly still screamed cheerleader.

"Hasn't anyone else arrived yet?" Bridget queried after breaking off their hug.

"No, they haven't! I thought I taught Gabby better," Shelly pouted, revealing that she'd already had a few drinks.

"Hey, Cookie. You keeping this one out of trouble?" Bridget inquired of Shelly's best friend, a brunette in a pink bikini.

"I gave up on that years ago," Cookie Keeble admitted, hugging the younger blonde. "You should probably do that too," she directed over Bridget's shoulder at Cassie.

"I've been doing it for more than a dozen years. So why would I stop?" the redhead questioned, meaning it.

Although there was a three-year age gap between the two pairs of best friends, Shelly and Cookie had come to know Bridget and her clique quite well over the years. As Gabriela's cheer mentor, Shelly had kept an eye on her little cheersister's cheersister. In the course of visiting practices and throwing parties, the older blonde also took a liking to the non-cheerleader amongst them.

"And it's not too late for you to finally do the right thing, young lady," Shelly said, putting her hands on her hips. "You should know all the moves by now."

"What? Oh, no. No, no, no, I'm not trying out to be a cheerleader," Cassie protested, shaking her head firmly.

"Why not? You'd be a cutie in the uni," Cookie said, chuckling at her rhyme.

"Yeah, that's a no-go, girls. Cass isn't peppy in the cheery way," Bridget explained, coming to her friend's aid.

"You better figure out who is soon. It's a damn good thing that Shayla already got bumped up to varsity early last year. You're going to have your hands full with all this last-minute crap," Shelly pointed out, suddenly sounding much soberer.

"Me? I'm not the captain. We still need to hold the elections," Bridget reminded.

"Who else would it be?" Shelly questioned, rolling her eyes over at Cookie, who nodded in agreement.

"Any idea about the prospects for the sophomore squad?" Cookie inquired. "It'd be a good idea to plan potential pairings for cheersisters."

"No pressure, but my little cousin is trying out. She should be an easy call, but don't just choose her for the squad as a legacy," Shelly said, sounding as if she wanted to expand on the possible JV members. However, the water fight picked back up.

"Oh, shit!" Cookie exclaimed as a balloon burst in the lawn not too far away. A small sprinkle of water reached her toes.

"Hey! Don't even think about getting me wet. I'll kick you out the party, and don't think I won't," Shelly threatened the line of people with newly filled balloons and guns.

"I'll accept your challenge, Princess Penfold. But only after I finish enjoying my spoils," Harvey boasted.

Surprisingly, Harvey had managed at some point to rotate the two girls on his shoulders so that their heads now faced forward. Fred hovered around the threesome, making sure that the two prizes stayed wet.

"Don't try me, Harv. I will throw you out," Shelly warned, stepping closer to him. "And cut out the He-Man shit when you talk to me."

"Aaaarrrrgggghhhh! Wenches kiss each other, and I'll give you freedom," the blond playboy ordered his two prizes as he switched over to playing a pirate. "I have a new busty bounty to pursue."

"You're crazy, you know that," Shelly responded, unable to avoid cracking a smile.

"They shall sing sea shanties about the way my cutlass plunders thy loot," Harvey continued, adding an exaggerated leer. But then, his demeanor changed upon spotting the other blonde behind Shelly. "Uh, hi, Bridget."

"Hey, Harvey," she replied, adding a little wave. Then, knowing what came next, she added, "Bye, Harv."

"Huh?" The young playboy's confused face turned to shock as he felt something slam into his groin. And it continued to barrage his bulge, sending it down to a smaller size.

"Yo ho ho! Blow the man down!"

"Oh, no," Cassie moaned, palming her face.

"Ahoy mateys! Get him!" Tinny screamed, motioning forward with one hand.

While the petite brunette continued to use the water hose to blast Harvey's groin, the group she organized slammed him with water balloons and guns.

Cackling like a madwoman, Tinny declared, "I'm the captain now, bitch!"

"So, you wanna put your stuff in my bedroom?" Shelly asked, wanting no part of the water fight.

"Yes, we would," Cassie replied, pulling Bridget with her toward the lakehouse.

Where are the rest of their friends?
