The Attack on the NCR Patrol Didn't Go as Well as Hoped

Madeline wanted to attack the NCR patrol. It would give her more reputation. Besides, NCR was the biggest threat to the Powder Gangers anyway. If they could keep them howling then it would mean more loot, more life on this mortal coil.

"Lets kill those bastards." Madeline sneered. A chorus of cruse filled assent rose up from the Powder Gangers.

Madeline led her group toward the NCR. The NCR spotted the band and took up positions to engage the bandits. It was a bloody fight. It seemed like both sides were **** to withdraw after each side sustained too many casualties to their liking.

The men grumbled as they pillaged the corpses that littered the area--many of them in the Powder Ganger uniform.
