All is well

You groggily wake up in a bedroom that you don't recognise, but the bed is warm and comfortable. You feel something warm on your hand and see that another hand is holding it tight. You trace the hand back to Jenny. You watch her sleep and admire how the sun hugs her form and provides some much-needed warmth after all you've been through. "She looks so beautiful and peaceful." your thoughts escape from your mouth.

It seems that was a mistake, as she is starting to wake up. She sees you looking at her and blushes. "Hey hotshot. How are you feeling?"

"I had better days. At least the pain is gone... I had this weird dream, you'll never believe it. How long was I asleep?"

"It's Sunday. Doc said you'll be fine. You really scared me," replied Jenny.

"It's ok, I'm fi... Doc? Sunday? What? I slept for four days?"

Jenny suddenly gets nervous, biting her lips. "You did wake up yesterday, and sent some werewolves to the infirmary."

You stare at her with your mouth wide open. "You mean that wasn't a dream?"

"I'm sorry, it's all my fault..." Her eyes start getting wet, and she looks like she will cry while her hand grips yours harder.

"Don't cry, it's ok. I'm just surprised. You know I'm not a fighter, and..." You don't get to finish as the door opens, and in comes the tiny redhead from your "dream" It's just that her ears and tail are missing. "I guess it really wasn't a dream..."

"Oh? You're up, great! How are you feeling? Any pain or soreness? Can you move your arms and legs?"

"Yeah, yeah, I feel good." You answer automatically, assuring her, and then turn to Jenny and whisper, "Didn't she have ears and a tail?"
