"So, where did you get that suit?" Erza asked as she handed him a menu.

"Er, um, well... Kinda had to pose as a butler for a job about a year back..." Natsu replied.

"Oh yeah, that mansion you burned down..." Erza giggled.

"Yeah, I... Kinda lost my cover there," Natsu chuckled. "At that point, I had to fight my way out..."

"Out of what? There was no mansion to escape at the end of it," Erza teased.

"...true enough," he said sheepishly.

They made their orders, Natsu getting the main dish of seared steak, while Erza ordered lobster, and asked for desert to be served alongside it, strawberry cake.

"Hah! Grey owes me a hundred jewels!" Natsu smirked.

"What do you mean?" Erza blinked, slightly confused, but also amused.

"I made a bet with him during conversation, he idly wondered what kind of foods you liked," Natsu grinned. "Because you smelled like strawberry cake, and steel, but that's not a good, I made a bet with him that you liked that particular dish!" he chuckled.

"Why would he bet against that?" Erza chuckled.

"Well, you're the tough kind of girl generally, guess the idea of you liking cake if any kind just seemed ridiculous to him," Natsu gloated. "Of course, my nose told me different. I still have yet to tell him about that, it's won me a lot of bets..." Natsu sniggered.

"I'd say that's cheating... But if people keep making bets you keep winning, it's their fault really," Erza smirked. "Though I'm unsure how I feel about being the subject of a bet..."

Natsu quickly apologized for that as their food arrived, and they dug in, making small talk.
