Seeing someone else…

“I can’t believe she didn’t even believe you,” Mark said laughing.

Natalie had just explained to him about how her mother assumed she was running off to see a guy and not her best friend from high school.

“Told you she’s crazy!” she laughed, “Definitely doesn’t have any trust in me at all.”

“I guess to be fair, she was right, as far as I know, I’m a dude and you’re hanging out with me right now,” he said making her laugh more, “I’m just worried she may come down here, see us together and chase me down the beach.”

“Look, I won’t rule it out, that wouldn’t be out of character for her.”

The two walked along a footpath by the sand next the water of the bay. They moved slowly, more interested in talking than the scenery around them.

That was of course until they came up to someone just ahead on the sand who was in a skimpy bikini on a fairly cold day. The woman was reading a book, laying on her back on a towel set up on the sand.

Despite the sun being out today, it was certainly not beach weather where people should be swimming or sun baking.

“What the hell, what’s wrong with that woman,” Natalie said at first, “She’ll freeze her nipples off.”

Wanting to keep Natalie in the loop, Mark explained the whole story of what happened with him and Winter at the hotel. Seeing Miss Hewitt with a man before she told him in a conversation that she had a partner here in California.

“Wow so are they definitley two different guys?”

“Well i mean, I think so but I don’t know the full story, I would love to know,” he told her.

“Well why don’t we investigate?” Natalie asked him.

“Investigate? How?” he asked curiously.

“It’s simple. Let’s just wait until she leaves here and then jump in you car and follow her to find out where she lives,” she told him, “Then over the next few days or whatever, you can work out if she’s dating someone else.”

Mark had to smile, she was a lot more devious than he had ever given her credit for, “Is that weird at all? Like stalking her?”

She shrugged her shoulders, “Yeah sure, probably is, but I mean as long as you don’t get caught, nobody will ever really know.”

Natalie was right. Although it seemed a little weird and with certain ideas of **** in his mind, there was a real aim that he wanted from all of this that he didn’t tell Natalie of. He would love to use this information to get what he wanted from Miss Hewitt.

It wasn’t good grades he was looking for either, it was purely for sexual reasons.

“How about I go back and get the car then and I’ll meet you here, just message me if she leaves before I get here.”
