The first interview

Daniel walked into the building and looked around until he found someone he recognized. He walked over to him quickly with a nervous smile.

“Hello, Daniel Williams, I’m here for the interview. They didn’t tell me too much about it so hopefully you can fill me in” he stuck out his hand to greet the man.

“Glad you could make it” the man said shaking his hand. “You were are last resort, so I don’t know what we would do if you hadn’t come” he chuckled. “I know you are new and I don’t mean to add any extra pressure but you are going to be interviewing Selena Gomez today.”

“Selena Gomez!” Daniel said in shock. His heart started to beat faster as he wondered how he was going to mange having to sit in a room with her and act professional. He figured he would be meeting some pretty famous people at some point, but not Selena on his first job. “Alright, well I guess I’ll try my best” he said back to the man with a nervous laugh.

“You’ll do fine. Here..” the man said handing him a piece of paper. “Try to ask as many of these as you can, but feel free to ask her any more you think of. Just keep it professional. Go on, she should be ready soon”

Daniel moved into the smaller room and sat down. His mind was racing tying to avoid looking like a fool in front of her. He looked down at the paper he had been given and read over some of the questions, hoping to relax himself by at least being a little prepared. Once he read through them a few times quickly, he flipped the page over and noticed the note book he brought with him.

‘It couldn’t be real….’ He thought to himself as he read the cover again and imagined what he could do with it.
