Some breakfast, and some fishing

Natsu's eyes opened to a rather powerful scent. He quickly sprang out of bed. Something was burning!

He practically tackled the door as he ran through it, his vision clouded, but not completely covered, by a thin, white smoke. As he charged into the kitchen, he saw Lucy there.

She was wearing only an apron, her hair still messy from being in bed, with a pan in her hands over the stove.

"Oh! Natsuuuu!" she chirped in a sing-song voice. "Like, good morning! I made eggs!"

Natsu looked at the burnt abomination in the pan that slightly resembled eggs.

"How did..?"

He rushed to her, grabbing her wrist and guiding her hand away from the stove

"Oooookay sweetie. How about we put this down."

"Sweetie?" she giggled "Are you, like, flirting with me Natsy?"

"Natsy..? No! Look just... down!" he said, defeated, as Lucy put the pan down. Then something caught his eye. A plate with nearly perfectly cooked eggs.

"Wait... what..? Can you cook or not?"

"Oooh! Yeah! Those are like, your eggs. I wanted to make sure yours were, like, totes perfect. But mine um... mine didn't like, go as well."

Natsu felt a little twist in his chest. This was a sweet gesture. Even if she almost burned the house down in the process.

"How exactly did you manage this then?" he asked, gesturing towards what were apparently 'her' eggs.

"Oooh! I like, got distracted. Aquarius was like, splashing around a lot. I went to like, check in on her and kinda forgot the eggs. Oopsie!" she giggled.

With his plate of eggs in hand, he made his way to the bathroom. The water in the tub had been splashed onto the floor pretty heavily, but there was still some in there, as Aquarius lay there squirming and smacking her puckered lips like a fish.

"Morning, fishy. Off the hook"
