Time for a detour

Carol strode confidently out of the spa block. She noticed the restaurant close by and thought that looked like a good option. It was afternoon now but she hadn’t had anything to eat since the piece of toast she had for breakfast. Time for a detour.

She could see two men further up the path heading in her direction. For a second she felt like running, but she calmed herself and if anything slowed down. They had spotted her now as well and could see the green of her necklace.

Carol was close to the restaurant and had a choice. She could speed up a little and get to the sanctuary of the restaurant or she could slow down and be caught by the men.
