Chapter 44 by Hornyteenager Hornyteenager

What's next?

Nightmares, Wet Dreams and Gifts

Hades woke up suddenly, breathing hard and sweating. Slowly he tried to calm himself by taking deep breaths. The bedchamber in his palace at Olympus had open windows from all four sides (cold really doesn't bother gods) and he could see lightning flashing in the distance. Storms were a frequent thing in Olympus. Zeus loves his storms.

Taking a deep breath, the king of the Underworld pushed back his sweaty hair off his face. In the far corner of their large bed, his wife, naked but covered in blankets, was seemingly sleeping peacefully. Her legs were moving under the blanket, he saw, rubbing against one another. Is she having a wet dream? Hades wondered. He smiled bitterly. Well at least someone is having a good night.

Hades did not deceive himself by thinking that she was dreaming of him. Persephone had been married to him for more or less for three millennia, though their sex life died just a couple of years after their marriage. Those first few years were great. After he took her, she was afraid for a time, but eventually got over it. Then Persephone got excited about her new life; a strange powerful god whisking her away from her sheltered life. Yet as years turned into decades and decades into centuries, Persephone began to long for everything she left behind, which she only has to enjoy for a couple of months a year, and she began to grow... cold. Now the only thing that is holding their marriage together is inertia. They both have their occasional lovers, and kids, but not with each other.

Frustrated, Hades pushed back the blankets and stood up. He has made his peace with all this a long time ago, so why was he thinking about this? He already knew the answer for that one. Those fucking nightmares.

Hades always had the shittiest of luck. When he and his brothers divided the world among themselves, he got the worst part as his domain. In a lifetime of ill treatment, claiming the beautiful young goddess of the seasons for himself was one of the few moments he felt victorious. Yet, in his nightmares, Hades himself **** Persephone, over and over again. But instead of triumph, he felt what she must have felt at that moment. The utter sense of fear at seeing this strange pale god, wearing all dark clothes, driving a chariot of fire breathing horses, dragging her into the bowels of the earth from which she would never truly escape.

The god of the dead once again looked at his wife, with a heart full of guilt and self loathing.

"And you are sure you got it right this time?" I asked.

"Yes master," Hazel replied thoughtfully, her eyes still glues to the plant.

The plant didn't look special. In fact, it was quite ugly. Planted in an ordinary pot, it was about a meter tall. A fat, green stem shot out of the soil, and about ten or so other stems branched out from the main one. Each stem ended with a large heavy pod, greenish looking and kinda circular, though they had blunt points at the end. Such a mediocre thing to hold part of my soul in.

Hazel must have noticed the look of trepidation in my face because she sighed and took my hand. "It works master. Look, gods can split themselves into many parts as much as they want to. You might not be a fully fledged god as of yet, but you can already transfer a sliver of yourself into an inanimate object which I specifically created for this very purpose. Plus I can feel a part of you inside this plant. Ask Arty if you are not sure," Hazel said, craning her neck to look at Arty, who had already assumed her 3 meter tall form in preparation of today's council session, though she was still naked.

"It is true master," Arty, standing beside me agreed.

"It all seems so... easy," I said. "I mean, I didn't even do much. Just... concentrated a bit."

Arty smiled, taking my face in her hands. I looked up and stared at her eyes... or her tits. Whatever. They were both silver anyway. "This is what being immortal means master," Artemis said with a gentle smile. "Willing something to happen and have it be done."

I nodded and smiled back. Then, with ****, I picked up the potted part of my soul. "Gotta admit this is really cool. Kinda like having a horcrux."

"A what?" Hazel asked, confused.

I sighed. "I forget that you spent almost all your life in the 40's. Never mind that now. You have done well slut, and you will get your reward tonight." I spanked her exposed, toned ass. "But not right now. Go put on some clothes. We have a special gift to deliver."

I walked through the streets of Olympus, my eyes trying to adjust to the unnaturally bright sunlight. Hazel walked beside me, as well as my personal guard, including Jason, though I had ordered them to act casually. One carried the plant.

"We are here." I said, looking at Demeter's palace in Olympus.

Jason frowned. "Wouldn't she be at the council?"

"Nah. Art- Lady Artemis told me that only the first meeting is mandatory. Demeter often skips the rest apparently." And who wouldn't if you have to listen to 11 other sociopaths prattle on? I wanted to ask, though I didn't say it out loud. That would be unwise... for the time being.

When knocking, a wind servant invited us in. Instead of going to the palace, it led us out to the back, where an enormous garden bloomed. We found the goddess of gardening... gardening. Obviously.

When we approached close the goddess wiped the dirt away from her hands and looked at us, giving a kind, motherly smile. It took my breath away. "Ah so you must be the new camp director."

"Raj, my lady." I said, shaking the hand she offered.

The gods of Olympus are generally divided into three generations, and Demeter was in the oldest one. And while a goddess can look any way she want, Demeter seem to prefer the more mature, matronly vibes. Silky corn blonde hair, tied in a tight braid, hung past her waist. Her sky blue eyes shockingly reminded me of Thalia's... until I remembered that Thalia's dad Zeus, whom she had gotten her eyes from, was also Demeter's brother. Godly family ties are so complicated. Demeter was wearing normal clothes under an apron, but even that wasn't able to properly hide her hourglass figure and ripe breasts.

The only thing ruining Demeter's gardening look was the golden sword sheathed at her waist, which reminded me of the title ancient Greeks had for her: the lady of the golden blade. A badass name, specially for someone who's famous for grains and getting knocked up by her brothers.

While I was checking out Demeter, she was greeting Jason and Hazel. As far as I knew, she had never met them, but being members of the prophecy of the seven, they were famous.

"So what are you here for, Mr. Director?" Demeter asked.

"I have a gift for you my lady. Well Hazel does. Hazel?"

Hazel cleared her throat. "Well, my lady, I was doing one of my experiments, when it kinda went south. One of my potions splashed into a nearby plant, and it became a whole new species, I think. I'm not usually good with plants and such, but m- Raj suggested that you would love to see and experiment with it." As she spoke, Hazel gestured at the dude who carried the plant. He unraveled the plant , taking off the cloth that covered it.

Demeter immediately rushed to it. "Oh this is fascinating. Don't worry kids, I'll take good care of it."

I tried to hide my predatory smile. "I'm sure you will, my lady."
