Chapter 3 by SabianMaillard SabianMaillard

How did the confronation go?

Invitation to Arbitration

Mistress F didn't seem concerned when I let her know that Miss Summer was planning to sue her.

Mistress F said to me, "It is important for her to be able to air her grievances." and then added with a hint of mischief in her voice, " I'm certain that we can come to some reasonable resolution."

Mistress F told me that she would be sending my wife an invitation to Arbitration. She needed to make it sound formal enough so that Miss Summer would take it seriously, but casual enough that she might not think to bring her lawyer with her.

The next day, during breakfast Miss Summer found an email from Mistress F's official company thanking her for "bringing to their attention the audio corruption. We take such matters very seriously and would like to thank you in person and pay you a reasonable finders fee for highlighting this risk to our customers."

"I don't remember sending them an email?" said, Miss Summer.

I panicked. Should I say that I informed "them" on her behalf, or try to make her think that she sent the email in anger last night and forgot that she had sent it? (I'm fairly sure she might not think to look in her sent-items to verify.)

What's next?
