Arerto woke the next morning and looked at the sleeping Julia so she left her there and went to the river and washed her body. When she returned to where Julia was she was up and tidying the campsite. They exchanged a good morning and Areto headed to her horse Genda and took her armour from the pack. She donned the heavy leather boots followed by the bronze shin guards that reached just above her knees. Next, she placed the heavy leather bustier around her waist and reached around the back and closed the latches which held it firm to her body. Lastly, the shoulder armour and gauntlets followed and topped off by the bronze headdress.
Julia looked at her complimented Arerto on her armour and beauty which made Arerto turn away as she felt her cheeks begin to blush. She thought to herself that it would be good to have a companion so she turned to face Julia and asked her if she would like to accompany her on her trails. Julia thought for a moment then said yes so they both finished cleaning the campsite until it looked like it was untouched. Arerto knew that it was good practice to hide the fact anyone had been camping here. They both mounted their whites horses and headed south.
As they rode Arerto asked Julia if she knew of the Hygnia Tiger and Julia said she had heard the tale. She also informed Arerto that it could not be killed by mortal weapons. This was a big problem as it would mean that they would have to seek out a divine weapon which would mean conversing with the gods and goddesses. There must be a mortal way to slay the beast it just needed some thought. As they rode south the sun was beginning to set and they came across a cave and decided to set up camp. Julia set the fire and they cooked some skinned rabbit and drank some wine.
Soon Arerto was passed out courtesy of the **** in her wine. Julia regretted doing this again but she was not sure how Arerto would react. There was the biggest tiger that she had ever seen so big that one claw was the size of Arerto and all she had was a sword. Julia came and stood at her side looking out on the tiger. She commented that Arerto did not need to seek out the tiger, the tiger had found her.
