Richard rushes home

It was normally a seven-and-a-half-hour drive home. Richard made it in five and a half. About an hour out, he got a text from his wife.

Honey, we know you are on your way home; this is the last time he is going to let me talk freely for a while, so please read my words carefully. I love you, and I am sorry. I know now that I should have never trusted him and should have never let him touch me in the first place. You need to know I don't want to do anything that he is going to make me do, but the law says I have to. I know you're rushing home to be my knight in signing armor and try to save me. Richard instantly tried calling her to find out the meaning of the message, but it went straight to voicemail. To make matters worse, it was Mr. Davidson's voice on the answering machine saying, "hello, this is the voicemail of Jimmy Davidson's Perl. She is not allowed to talk to anyone but him, so please get in touch with her master at 1-555-555-5555." Followed by an electronic voice saying, "Beep; this voicemail is no longer accepting messages a good day" with that, the call was over.

Mr. Davidson's car was in the driveway, and the door was left wide as if someone was inviting him into his own home when he got home. Richard could instantly tell that the kids were out with the nanny because every door except for the new and old master bedroom is left entirely open. The door to the old master bedroom slowly creaks open The moment Richard walks into the living room.
