Mark receives a text at the Hospital

Life was tough right now for Mark.

His body ached from the recent car accident. Mark’s neck was still in its brace as he recovered, slowly he was getting better but there was no chance of him getting out in the next couple of weeks, he would have to wait.

The only excitement he ever got while he was in the hospital room was when he received a visit from friends from college.

Mark had recently spoken with Tiffany about bringing some of his textbooks and other things from his room to have a look at it knowing he wasn’t getting out anytime soon. Mark would need to find the time to study eventually. He had been told that Ali and Jess were going to be the ones to drop off the items.

Something that made him smile thinking about it. Just to see a couple of pretty faces was enough to make him smile right now.

Interrupting his current thoughts was a different pretty face itself.

“Mark! How are you this morning,” the cheerful female voice came from an attractive nurse.

She had to be around the 30 year old mark, her golden brown hair up in its own spectacular bun. The smiling beauty was wearing her own blue nurse scrubs so he couldn’t get a great idea of what her body looked like except that he knew she had a decent sized rack by the way her breasts pressed against the scrubs at her chest.

“I’m doing alright, better than yesterday and the day before,” he told her.

“Excellent! That’s wonderful to hear,” the nurse said.

Her name was Georgia and she had been a nurse here in Florida for the last three years after moving from Kansas City. Georgia came in to do the daily check, to see how he was and give him some more medication.

It was a process that was already draining on Mark who just wanted to move around freely.

“Do you think there’s any chance I can get out of here by Saturday?” he asked her, looking up into what was some stunning blue eyes.

She gave him a sympathetic look, “I’m sorry darling, that’s not up to me.

“It’s okay, I figured. Just had something I really wanted to get to,” he said, referring to the Hall tournament party that was happening this Saturday.

“I’ll speak to who I can to make sure you’re out as soon as possible but I think it might be at least another fortnight inside here, it’s just for the safety of your body,” she explained to him.

Mark nodded, thanking her again for thinking about his personal needs. As Georgia once again left the room, he heard his phone buzzing from the side table. He moved his body sideways, quickly picked it up to see what the message was and who it was from.

Little did he know, it was about to be a pleasant surprise.
