Ozpin's speech, and preparing to sleep.

The new Beacon students entered a large assembly room, and Ozpin began to speak to all of them. It was a fairly short, but blunt speech, talking about how he saw nothing but wasted energy in them, but they had the potential to redirect it to something useful. He also told them knowledge, while it was power, would only carry them so far, and it was up to them to take their steps beyond that.

Afterwards, he had them gather in the ballroom. As they weren't assigned to teams yet, this was where they would sleep tonight until then, and dorm assignments. Jaune watched as Ruby and Yang talked to a girl named Blake, and got into a comical sort of argument, which brought Weiss out to yell at them until Blake blew out the candles.

Jaune then curled up in his sleeping bag, and read the rules of the Sex Note over, trying to find any other hidden implications. He decided he needed to experiment more, and considered who to use it on and how.
