Yes, but not in the way he was thinking..

"Central, this is Rawlings, I need a wa-" Rawlings suddenly stops talking but not in the way you normally would; Robert looked up to see the Officer standing in front of him, mouth open. He waited to see if she had changed her mind but Rawlings just continued to stand open mouthed.

As he looked at the Officer, he slowly became aware of a sudden change over the Station; everything was quiet. TOO quiet. He lifted a hand and waved it in Rawling's face but the Officer continued to stare at him endlessly. He turned around and saw a bizarre sight; the Jock was standing behind him, a shit eating grin plastered on his face. Behind him, his little group were holding up their phones, as if recording the show, and the Vendor had looked up from her magazine but, like Rawlings, not a single one of them were moving!

Curiously, Robert reached out and shook the Jock, who rocked back and forth, before toppling backwards. To Robert's horrified curiosity, the Jock remained in position, eyes now directed at the Station canopy. Eventually, the silence of the Station was broken by a barely audible "What the fuck...?" from Robert, who was now inspecting on of the Jock's friends, a tall, busty, blonde Cheerleader. She held her phone out at arm's length, a shit eating grin similar to the Jock's on her face. Suddenly, he caught a glimpse of her wristwatch; examining it closer, he noticed the second hand was not moving. Intrigued, he checked the watches of Officer Rawlings and the Jock, only to discover they were like the girl's; stopped at EXACTLY the same time!

Immediately, Robert started to clue in what was going on; the strange meteor had obviously given him the ability to stop time around him! As crazy as it sounded, it made perfect sense; he'd asked Rawlings to stop and she'd quite literally done just that! Having seen a lot of Sci-Fi as a kid, he assumed the way to get them to start again was to give them a command in that sense but before he did that,he was going to use this power to get a little payback...
