Down Time, before the next class.

The work is finished as you look out over a the gym, with lines that go between each of the area's the cubicles form. From one side to the next there is about 6 lanes if you count the space on the end, with around 5 to 6 booths across the whole thing for a total of around 30 to 36. That is to say you had not really taken the time to count what was already constructed as you constructed more cubicles, thou it's clear that you had no idea how big the gym was til after you finished this work. You notice something funny about these temporary walls in that, they seem to be set up to plug into the wall and act as extension cords into each cubical. You of course shrug not have noticed any power sockets with in the cubicles during the construction thou it comes to you that they are on top of the walls, you quickly decide placing a wall socket on top of a temporary wall to be foolish but so be it.

You turn to Charlie and smile and ask " Anything else to do?"

Charlie shakes her head and says " The computers and other equipment will be set up a lot faster in groups of two, for the class after this. So it means this class and you get a break." You of course feel her eying you up and down and it is clear the lifting and the workout of doing the work more or less has gotten her going but she is not acting on it. She then says " We can go get a drink if you like? I mean you must be thirsty and there is a sports machine between the locker room after all. And they really are useful keeping people hydrated, and replace needed mineral after any kind of heavy activity. Thou I do carry a few of the folk remedies just in case, like apple cider vinegar and a container of pickle juice. You would be surprised the types of things that can make people feel better after heavy activity."

You just smirk as you think about the strange things sold in vending machines in some parts of Japan, and realize that the vending machine love the Japaneses love must really be one of the things that the Free Zones helped spread more or less because as you think about it you realize you to can get almost anything from a vending machine. You turn and say " I guess, people have been solving all kinds of issues with something as simple as vinegar for centuries I guess sore muscles and cramps are not different. Thou I am not sore and I don't think you are either."

Charlie lights up a bit and says " That is what you think, but the sports drink will help with that. Drinking it before the pain or cramps start is also a good move, it being cold also helps return the core body temperature back to normal once you put yourself to resting state."

She of course just buys two drinks and hands you one and says " One of my favorites, and I have seen you drinking it as well during one of your workouts so don't go telling me you don't want it." You look at the bottle and see it is some kind of citrus based drink, instead of punch or any number of other drinks. You nod and take it open it and take a long swig.

She smiles as you add" Thanks, I did not get much to drink with lunch. And I was unable to finish my whole lunch myself. It seems Kaylee has special meals for people who are helping and or not feeling well but no in a state that would prevent them from eating, and if I am eating that well for weeks I might feel guilty because of the crap the school feeds everyone else by comparison."

Charlie shakes her head and says " The school food is not that bad, it's better then it is in many places in the world thou. When you compare them, It should be said that 'What cannot be helped must be put up with' or so they would say in my country, I spared you the issue of translating it. Because if it had been said out loud it would sound like I was getting ready to spit on you mostly, or **** on something."

You smile and say " I was never one to just put up with what is, and from what I know from some reading I would have made a very poor Scotsmen. Thou I personally feel I have no issue wearing a kilt, based on how much access some of you seem to want to me it would be easier then taking off my pants."

Charlie of course is just looking at you trying to think of what say but Cora comes over and says " Hey, you two have things to do still."

Charlie of course turns to Cora and informs her " Who is the teacher here? I decided we get a break, we are getting fluids and taking a breather. If you need one you can get a drink as well."

Cora looks at your drink in your hand a second and takes it and takes a sip and says " I am fine, I have water and so on you know."

Charlie just laughs at her and says " You don't need to be threatened by me Cora, I know you like John. My mother use to say strange things things that were often hard to understand, but all of them had meaning worth teaching. Things like -When the heart is full the tongue will speak. I bring this up to think on the case of you Cora, you love or at least lust or care for John. The problem is in the case of this saying he has not felt it, and thus has not spoken on it. But as he learns of the interested others have in him, his heart or mind becomes knowing or blessed with the information and his mind allows him the ability to express it."

Cora of course is a bit confused but figured she might as well agree it's easier then an argument so she says " I guess, My father had a saying it goes like this - Sa taong may tunay na hiya, ang salita ay panunumpa. More or less like yours it means something other then what it is.This means - one must always be true to their word and keep their promises. I simply expect, John to do what he said."

You of course look at Cora funny for a moment and ask " What did I say? what is it your expecting me to do?"

Cora smiles and says " You said you would marry me when we were younger."

You think back and realize you might have said it but it was before you knew what girls and boys do and what happens of it, you just chuckle to yourself when Cora finally says " Whats funny?"

You laugh again and say " Fine, but you have to understand. Others may also be interested."

Cora looks at you for a second and says " I know, Kaylee informed Dzaya and myself about what she feels might happen."

Charlie looks at her and says " Many people have sayings like that one Cora."

You shrug and say " My mother use to say things in Russian that as best as I could figure meant - All problems seem to be easy to solve, unless they're your own. I get the feeling she was telling me I should watch out for my problems?"

Of Charlie and Cora quickly both say " We are not problems!"

You smirk and say " Sorry, My mother muttered a lot of things when I was younger and I often had trouble understanding them." They both start laughing at you.

Cora then says " There is no problem so long as I get you I don't care."

Charlie of course finds the defensive nature of the younger girl kinda funny and says " Don't worry about it, he is capable of more then we expect I am sure. It's part the reason as best as I can tell we like him."

You of course simply mutter something along the lines of " Oh, I get it you just want to use me just like everyone else." and Charlie of course smirks and says " What did you say?"

You smile and say " Nothing."
